I mean stories about traitors are always in the news. One day it's a Chinese American who passed on secretes, another day it's a black sheep of a family who shames himselfs and harms others, at other times you have politicians who challenge their party leaders. In the overall pyramid of businesses, there are not that many which are global brands that could benefit from a world wide audience.

Case in point is a second-tier search advertising engine, where a recent commentator said that he was getting tonnes of CPC traffic from Korea, non which converted.

In any case, Google groks advertisers, and has been giving away conversion tracking tools to help advertisers fine tune their pitches.

Re: Open Social : The FaceBook Killer?

The loser is actually Microsoft, who has been trying to persuade users to come back to Windows, which used to be a platform, if anyone remembers. Windows was supplanted by the browser, and now giant APIs which use HTML and javascript. This is going to make it even harder for rich client apps to gain traction.

Re: ICustomFormatter and the ToString( IFormatProvider ) method of Enum

You are out of luck.
Decompiling using reflector for Enum type:

[Obsolete("The provider argument is not used. You virtually have to manually delete it. Would be much better if mobile devices automatically expire ads when you move out of range, or after a minute or two.

Re: Warner Bros says “No More Female Lead Characters”?!

It doesn't mean that movies with female leads shouldn't be made. Bookmarkable applications. I can send you the URL of a particular screen, or a particular record.

2. This opens up applications to easily implement Most Recently Used Feature, or Most Recently Accessed Data

3. It makes it easy to add annotation-like features to an app (through mashups).

4. You can create mashups easily, e.g. treat an application as a component for free

5. Back button (MSMoney-style UI), although the caching of application screens on browser make this somewhat broken, but desktop apps will be able to address this.
