Your comment is only true if you are advocating Pacifism.

However if Warrior is the chosen path then self defense is the basis upon interjecting oneself in the dance of death. The situation may present itself that someone is going to die in the room but..it will not be me or mine if I have anything to "say" about it. The other guy is completely wrong about torture. It only seperates you from the last gasp on surviving with humanity intact. You dispatch your enemies with efficiency. Violence is always the very last thing.
