Put that in your PSP and smoke it.
http://www.pspmagazines.com/pspm/mags/PSPM_Foo_...

Re: The Screen Savers are back at Scattered

Your welcome. It really is one of the best Tech Podcasts. And there is a far amount of nostaglia for those of us you got our learn on via TechTV. I'm a Mac guy and TSS got me to build and overclock a PC. Chris Pirillo also has a very good podcast. A bit long, but good. http://www.chrispirillo.com/ He's not nearly as annoying as he was on Call For Help. It will take some time to shake that image though.

Re: Podcasts at Scattered

Engadget is a good one.

I listened to the 2600 shows for the last year or so. I prefer "off the hook" but never really enjoyed "off the wall" Worth checking out both if you haven't heard them. the rss link for 2600 nabs both shows.

While not technically a podcast, the audio files from "The Fifth HOPE" conference are awesome. Even if you just listen to the Kevin Mitnik and Steve Wozniak keynotes. http://www.the-fifth-hope.org/hoop/5hope_speake...

On the Christian tip I really enjoy "The God Journey". Its done by 2 friends of mine who are fantastic thinkers and writers, and they talk about God and issues in the world big and small.
http://www.thegodjourney.com/podcast.xml

Re: Podcasts at Scattered

The MAKE Magazine podcast is also really good. Mainly hacking/tinkering stuff and they do videocast occassionally as well. http://makezine.com/blog/archive/make_podcast/i...

Re: Podcast development post at Scattered

It would also be great to do the podcast while physically being in the same room. It's one of the things I quite like about the Diggnation podcast. http://www.diggnation.com/

I would love to be a part. Thanks for the inclusion Dan. I'm looking forward to it.

Re: Podcast development post at Scattered

Not knowing where Nathan lives, I'm not sure about time frames on Wed. nights if we meet there. My house is also available for meeting and recording there. I have DSL, wireless, a PC with a pro sound card, a G5, 2 mixers, but I have no mics. Wherever we do it we should make it as fun as possible to do otherwise it will feel like work. A 30 minute show is plenty long. So once we get our set up figured out, we should be able to bang it out and throw back a few beers and have a blast in a short time frame.

I like Jared's idea of how to handle the topics we discuss via a show notes wiki throughout the week. That is the format that I am most attracted to in the podcasts I listen to.

Tech, culture, funny stories etc. are good starting points. Steering clear of politics is a good idea and will make for a more pleasurable experience for us and the listeners.

Is Nathan trying to have another child?

Re: TyTHyl Episode I at Scattered

Bravo. There is a equal mixture of promise (tech and spirtitual) and an idealist ache that I have come to understand is my heart. Gosh I sound like Bono...my posts will be heartfelt and relevant, if I sound like a charlatan call me out.

Re: Idealist Future at Scattered

Dang.
