Maybe make things more interesting, take Biz at his word, do a 10x on the Twitter traffic, then compare the actual Lijit API calls + web traffic against that? The fruit would be more similar that way?

Either way, I don't mean for it to detract from the bigger point that Boulder is making things happen. It does concern me that certain aspects of the Boulder scene find 'Startup Culture' superior to 'Small Business Culture' when it would likely benefit more from the latter.

Re: Boulder Startup Weekend II

$40? Really?

This seems to indicate to me that SW no longer thinks it can produce a product that can generate even the tiniest of revenue to cover incidental upfront costs over a 2-day period. In essence, you're saying that SW's 5% equity stake isn't worth the beer money.

Here's a few of new slogans:

"Internet Pros, come to Startup Weekend, work your ass off for 2 days, and pay us for it! Hey, you get a t-shirt!"

"Startup Weekend, we say it's about building products but it's mostly just a big party."

"Startup Weekend, like Barcamp but without any technical content and it costs money."
