I wonder how Chekov is going to tackle the words "Nuclear Vessels."

Good point... I check apple.com/quicktime about once a month for trailers. I like how they are all "Mashed" together. I have another site that lists names of movies, I just click on the one's with cool names and hope for the best.

Don't know if that is any help for a blog, but that's usually how I find hidden gems. Maybe in addition to the blockbusters that are typically featured here, you could do some commentary on ones that probably won't do well at the box office but have some potential for a "cult" following. Some movie houses thrive on these, so I think they may be more popular than people give them credit for.

It's a pretty simple answer from me. I read the posts about movies I think I'll like. Doesn't matter what the content is. I don't keep tabs on other movie blogs, so I have nothing to compare with. No complaints though.

I can't really say if this movie will do well, but based on the trailers, Frank Castle is far more believable as The Punisher this time. Thomas Jane isn't a bad actor but he isn't exactly someone I'd pick to play the part of a homicidal maniac bent on vigilante justice. You could invite him over for a BBQ & have a good time. This new guy, who I've not really heard of... watching the music video, he is a pretty scary dude... not someone I'd ever want to meet, which is who The Punisher is.

I still haven't gotten on the Blue-Ray bandwagon... I'm still a bit unsure as to why DVD is becoming "obsolete." The DVD format is great... sure, I can see some color degradation during darker scenes in a movie... but honestly, it's hard to justify this switch.

That said, if they keep adding bonuses such as this, I might see the benefit. It's like the long lost toys in my cereal boxes. *sigh* I miss those.

He's an amazing director & I've watched everything he's done except Fahrenheit . But my age has taught me not everything he says is always 100% fact, which doesn't take away from the enjoyment of his films. It just means you need to keep an open mind and take everything with a grain of salt. I think his overall mission is a good, though sometimes it feels as if Michael is walking around just to toot his own horn.

Just caught the trailer for this yesterday. I'm hopeful this will be a good one, I've not really had a good western to watch since Tombstone.

This style of western really trumps the old 50's era versions. I think it has a lot to do with being far more believable. So lets hope no one rides off into the sunset in this one.

I'm pretty excited about it... well, sorta. So many of these fail, consistently. But the game series was great and I've been a little disappointed that they haven't come out with a new one.

What would really be funny is if the movie rocks and then they come out with a game based on it that flops... oh, now that would be ironic.

Oh Will Ferrell, your ability to saturate the market with movies is going to be your downfall... sadly, I do enjoy you. I also enjoyed Sandler at one time.

Glad to hear he's doing good... I don't follow his work but he was obviously great in The Professional and I did enjoy his performance in Wasabi.
