Look for telecommuting jobs if you can. It does two things -- gives you a paycheck, and brings money into Michigan. That's just my opinion, of course, but a decent tele-job seems perfect for those of us living in the beautiful, economically dying, north.

Like Katherine said, yes, thanks for posting about the podcast. I was thrilled to see the feedback on the website regarding video sponsorship. The one dissenting comment was shot down by others. It was encouraging!

I don't "get it" when it comes to Webkinz. In the words of LOLCats, maybe I'm just doin' it wrong, but the second life online seems to be little more than a gimmick to me.

I might have to go buy my kids another set, and see if we can make it work. Last year about this time they got a few of them, but we couldn't manage the online portion. Maybe it was a Mac/Linux issue with the website. It might be worth another go.

I was planning to post something like this today on my own site. I just linked to your post, because it was very well done.
