in Over Four Years of Turmoil is Soon Ending on introspective snapshots
This was a great post Shey. Thank you for sharing your story. I think it's always good to read about another person's experience on any blog -- as I'm sure it relates to many people, myself included. I for example, started off in Bio-medical sciences and kept changing career paths!

Despite the fact that I think during my four years of university, I felt like I was going insane. Over the 4 years after I graduated I still regard my years in university quite fondly when I really changed and grew as a person and essentially -- had the opportunity move forward and define myself and my role -- whatever it is or will be in this world. I think you'll definitely look back fondly on this period of time because of all the changes in your life -- and all of your perseverance or persistence to push forward those changes.

Best of luck on your final! You'll be stepping into the next stage in life :) For most people, I usually just refer to it as paying off debts.

Shey Actually I saw a documentary that said penguins were very efficient walkers, even more so than human beings because of their waddling. Makes sense :)

in When a Sport Isn’t a Sport (and no, Figure Skating isn’t a sport) on introspective snapshots
Personally I enjoy the NHL and NFL most. I think this is a good fun post Shey but I don't know if your criteria works perfectly ;) I think your key missing criteria is that there must be physical exertion of force or energy.

Otherwise, I could say that I believe chess is a sport (despite the fact that I don't play). It requires skill (i.e. use of strategic thinking) and using brain power requires energy. It has opposing teams and it incorporates non-subjective scoring with the enforcement of rules. Chess also goes beyond a nation's borders.

Same could be said of video games which also incorporates opposing forces, brain power, winning/losing sides, enforceable rules, acquired skills, and also that multiplayer games transcends borders. Many teams of video game players train a heck of a lot and plot out team strategies just as teams in the mainstream sports do (i.e. NFL!).

Hey Shey,

Great design! I really like it! Very user friendly too. I think when it comes to blogging, one of the important things is -- don't force it. Figure out what you like talking about most and be genuine about whatever you say.

Sometimes I feel like I should blog if I hadn't been blogging for a while but then realize I should just simply go read the news or something and find out what I really want to talk about. Then flesh out the idea in your mind or on paper before writing it in WP.

If you really don't feel like publishing your post yet, just save it and come back to it later when you feel more inspired :)

Good job and best of luck with blogging!
