in Saving Christmas - A Buckhead Church Original Film on Ragamuffin Soul
Having already seen a sneak peek while I was there visiting last week, I agree with Los. It's going to be awesome. You guys continue to raise the bar.
Will you be posting the finished video online?

Dude, that video is AWESOME! I was cracking up through the whole thing. Love it.
I think I would have to second the guy who wanted the entire Best Buy store. That would be freaking awesome.
Have fun on your cruise getaway.

Great promo. I love what they do over at Fellowship.
By the way, a title like that for a post could do one of two things for you, either it will flag all the content filters or will start to index you in a whole lotta porn searches! :-)

Dude, that is totally cool. I love that so much more than the time lapse video because you can actually see what helped make up your day. I'm going to have to try that myself.

Wow, those are awesome pictures man. I love the fun, light-hearted look that Daley captured this time.
From the artistic angle I love the one with the shallow depth of field where you guys are blurred out in the background the the wheat (or whatever that is) is in focus. Awesome.

Ok, I am SOO jealous! I LOVE the Ting Tings! Must have been an awesome show. Do they sound the same live as they do on their album?
I think if they were to pass through Indy I'd snatch up tickets in a heartbeat.

in Moving Forward as the Body of Christ on DSimmer.com
Great post Dean. I think it's time for Christians to stop their complaining about how things are and be a part of the solution. After all, God called the Church to be the agent of change in the world, not Washington.

in Ragamuffin Soul » How Was You’re Voting Experience? on Ragamuffin Soul
lol, that comic is exactly how I feel every time I vote. I'm always worried that I pressed the wrong button or something that would invalidate it.
We voted early up in Fort Wayne since we were still registered up there. 2 hour wait. It was a killer.
By the way, I voted for the other guy but I was so happy to watch history made last night. I wrote my thoughts about it in my post this morning. It was an amazing evening. I don't think I've ever felt that way about an election before, especially after I voted for the guy who lost.
Now comes the time where we lay aside our differences and political views and pray like crazy for our president elect, his cabinet and our nation.

in Ragamuffin Soul » Praying Backwards // The Streaming Prayer Box on Ragamuffin Soul
What an awesome evening. Thanks for organizing it. It was so awesome for Lisa and I to sit with the laptop in the living room and gather with hundreds of other believers in prayer for our future elected officials.
Prayer without partisanship.
Prayer for "our guy" and "the other guy."
It was very meaningful.

I'm confused. On the widget it says that the Praying Backwards is Monday night (tonight) but in your post you say it's tomorrow night.
I'd like to write a post on it to promo this. When is it?

Tam - the more I read of your story the more amazed I am at the grace of God and His ability to bring total and complete restoration and healing. Thank you so much for delving into these dark, painful areas of your life to share with others and offer hope.

Pretty crazy cool! I love creative expressions of worship that blur the lines between art and music. Reminds me of that music video for Eh Hee by Dave Matthews (except not as creepy).

Great post and question.
I think "picking up the towel" will look different for each of us. In the simplest terms it's just doing what no one else is willing to do to serve others. It may be volunteering to clean bathrooms at our church after a youth rally (yuck) or coming in during the week to help out when no one will see us or give us credit.
I've been working lately on trying to become a servant in the truest sense of the word. It's a challenge.

I'm packing up tonight and heading out early tomorrow morning to drive to Atlanta for Catalyst too! Whoohoo! I'm so pumped for this year's conference. This will be my 4th year.
Have you been before or will this be your first time?
Well, maybe I'll see you there!

Dude, that is so freaking awesome!! I love hearing stories like that and getting ideas for new and creative ways the church can really be God's hands and feet in this world. Man, that really pumps me up!
I just listened to Craig Groeschel's message yesterday about caring for others. One point that stood out to me was "To say that we care without acting is to not care at all" True compassion should always lead to action.
I'm so passionate about this subject and so encouraged to read what your church did. Keep up the great work in serving your community.
