我想可不可以不用只针对Second
Life来批判（或者褒扬）3D(或者2D)
Web虚拟场景的前景。这里再有几个例子：

1. Alternate Reality Game (ARG)的一个代表：Perplex City。
它构造了一个虚拟的寻宝探秘的虚拟场景，把一些线索放在虚拟世界的各种媒体场景中，找到宝藏的人可以得到￡100,000/$200,000的奖金。Perplex
City刚拿到了7百万美元融资。

2. Habbo Hotel.http://www.habbo.com/
动画聊天的虚拟场所。用户可以在上面拥有自己的房间，然后花real
money买装饰品，礼物等等。而前不久Wireless World
Forum和mobileYouth06 team 刚在上面开了虚拟会议。

如果Second
Life不适合中国，那么上面两个例子呢？我相信虚拟世界会出现在中国，也应该出现在中国。

1. Wiki has been recognized in China after Blog;
2. The conventional e-commerce has realized the power of web2.0 concepts
3. China is a bit more friendly to Open-source and this is a sign.

Qunar.com (competitor of ctrip.com), 360quan (SNS doing OK), ChinesePod.com (doing great, focus on globle market, its EnglishPod.com doing ok), Tudou is co-founded by foreigner, right?

I am a bit surprised that people read this post from different angles, but I think I can understand the reason.

As a tech blogger, I am NOT saying Facebook should stop its service in China.

'Forget about China' does not mean Forget it Forever, it means Forget about it Until you take the business in China more seriously and understand the local internet culture.

Forget about China actually is a Good and Safe strategy. Do not rush into Chinese market which is very different from the western before you are truly ready!

First, I am not saying Facebook is not doing ok. Myspace didnot forget about China, they have office, local staff etc, but because eventually they dont really understand how to do the business in China, as you said, they are losing face. No rumor about Facebook China recently, no office, no local team, but FB is doing ok, is 'Forget about China' a good and strategy?

Another reason triggered me to write down this post is that, I know some guys in FB understands the way of doing business in China, but disappointingly, the big bosses would not listen to those advice. So 'Forget about China' is the best strategy, at lease for now.

Google是包含在里面的，但是不是default。你需要点击一下当前搜索引擎名字边上的一个小按钮（一个向下的小三角形）就可以看到一个下拉菜单，其中包含了更多的搜索引擎可以选择。

Netvibes的访问速度和中文字体问题已经在解决中，前者还需要一段时间，后者已经解决相信很快会升级中文版。

Netvibes其实比iGoogle在个性化主页方面要专业很多，毕竟是个独立的公司，它推出的Universal Widget API和现在的Universe以及个性化功能都应该是其它服务商没有做到，或者做的不太好的。

建议试试Netvibes吧。 ^_^

部分同意。

之所以哭笑不得，是因为JS程序确实大家都可以看到，同时我相信Potu的用意也是好的:让更多的人享受开源的意义，而且Potu的开源也不仅仅是开JS程序，而是整个系统。

不过问题的根本在于如果程序是别人写的，别人没有允许，也没有说这是个开源项目，你就帮别人开源了，这个说的过去么?人人去查看代码和把代码拿来然后说是开源了，这不是一回事情。

HoodongWiki也开源，那是互动自己开发的系统;开源是把自己的分享给别人。

Potu的开源很有意思。

其实我知道。但是您也不知道其创始团队的其它公司的盈利情况以及本身的背景吧。

如果digu的资金和资源支持还不够的话，相信很多创业公司的情况就更难了。

interesting and innovative, but it seems it can only keep track on the contents inside a fixed-position area, which could be bad experience for the users. Another concern is that the widgets are used to better transform/present the data, not just a simple screenshot-like copy&paste.
