uh... shouldn't the band decide what kind of band they are? that's part of being an artist; expressing yourself in whatever way you see fit.
it's not their fault you were dumb enough to get a tattoo of them. I would hope you got it for a good reason, and not just to look "cool" having the name of some "cool" band on your body. if the music meant something to you at that time, THAT music still should today, and if that's the case then you have no reason to be upset.
if this puts you into a state of depression, your life is small, go outside and live a little.
this is a whole lot of attitude coming from a fall out boy fan, as if they were EVER really a punk band.

and music means alot to me; so excuse me when a band who's music has impacted me and helped me through alot sorely dissapoints and im affected by it.
you have to admit that their sound has not steadily and reasonably progressed. they went from pop punk to pop rock to pop...something. with their last two albums and onto this new one.
it seems to me that they've become another casualty of the scene. another band who has let too many other minds get invovled in their music.
im not a 16 year old little scene kid who got a bartskull tattooe on my neck and only knows fob for sugar we're going down. im a true fan of their music and im truly hurt by the direction they've taken.
