I think I'm a prime candidate for this offer for several reasons. I bought a Joyce Meyer Study bible about 8 months ago and 3 weeks ago the Lord prompt my heart to give it away. My first response was, "Oh NO GOD, I love my bible", my next thought was ok Lord I'll give it to her, but please help me give it with a grateful heart. I know the Lord has a reason for this but for now I'm without a study bible. One really cool thing the Lord has shown me though this is that I came across an old goals list in my old bible. I have been looking to get a Hebrew/ amplified version but I haven't had much luck finding one.

So to sum up this story, I just need one and amazon votes it the top 5 study bible for 2008.

I'm a big fan of HGVT mainly b/c of my work of home building and remolding. I guess I like see a mess turn out to be a master piece. A little time, creativity, and a small amount of money can really transform. I will say that when I come across a show that highlights a gay couple, I turn the channel. I change channels not b/c I'm judging them but that I feel if I continue to watch, I'm agreeing. More so I just don't have a good witness to watch. Would I turn the channel with a hetero couple not married, I hope I would.

I have an appointment every Saturday at Granny's Kitchen in town. When I speak of town, I'm referring to my 1500 population hometown. This is a time for me to just chill by myself and enjoy granny's company. I'm greeted with a big hug and a hello sweetie, are you having your usual. My usual consist of 2 scrabbled eggs, home fried potatoes with onions, biscuit with gravy, a side of honey, and coffee. yum... That sounds good this morning. For a long time I left in my heart that this was a ministry for me. One morning I went in a little discouraged and when she saw me, she ran over to give me a hug and that's when it hit me. The Lord has place my Saturday mornings to be a blessing to me as well. He knows all. :)

I love the way you put it. I sent her an email yesterday apologizing for my tone of voice and the way our conversation ended . I shared with her that I care for her very much and I didn't want her to feel like I'm pushing my personal convictions on her. Her response to me was very kind and she too apologized for getting angry. When friendships don't turn out like I would like, I just run to Him for direction, correction, and comfort. My prayer was answered and their is peace. Thank you Jesus!

Boundaries are very important, I CAN love in spite for disagreements. Seeing her through His eyes is my hearts prayer. I try to always remind myself that the only difference between us, is that I have accepted His love and forgiveness. Where would I be without Him? I have to remind myself every now and then. Self righteousness will keep you in bondage and it steals true freedom.

A shout out to all your blogger Randy... If you want to see an excellent movie about a marriage covenant to your spouse and God, Fire Proof is the must see movie. I rate the movie a perfect 10!
We must support Christian movies. The movie took in over 6 million the first weekend. :)

here's another one.

Two blondes were doing some carpenter work on a Habitat for Humanity house. Carol, who was nailing down house siding, would reach into her nail pouch, pull out a nail and either toss it over her shoulder or nail it in. Donna, figuring this was worth looking into, asked, "Why are you throwing those nails away?"
Carol explained, "When I pull a nail out of my pouch, about half of them have the head on the wrong end and I throw them away."
Donna got completely upset and yelled, "You moron! Those nails aren't
defective! They're for the other side of the house!"

A blonde was shopping at Target and came across a shiny silver thermos. She was quite fascinated by it, so she picked it up and took it to the clerk to ask what it was. The clerk said, "Why, that's a thermos..... it keeps hot things hot, and cold things cold."
"Wow, said the blonde, "that's amazing....I' m going to buy it!!"
So she bought the thermos and took it to work the next day. Her boss saw it on her desk. "What's that," he asked?

Her boss inquired, "What do you have in it?"
The blond replied, "Two popsicles and some coffee."

I'm glad you liked the gift. I had a feeling that you would love the magnets; I'm a coffee lover too. :) Are you getting ready for the Love won out conference, I noticed it was coming up soon. I have been out of the loop for a while, anything new with the conferences? The Lord is directing me back into ministry(I'm excited) :), I have several things in my heart but I'm waiting on the Lord's timing. I do feel a strong calling to join hands with Joyce Meyer’s ministry in some way. I've been on the Exodus Website this week, it's a blessing to see the Lord working. How is the outreach to the youth going?

I loved living in Northern California! I think it's the most beautiful place I've every been. A death in the family called me home to Texas, I pray one day I will own a home in Northern California. Folsom California is a perfect vacation spot. :)

The thing that brought me to Folsom was a new job. I never got into any social events. I loved the outdoors. I was only about an hour from Lake Tahoe. Beautiful!!

Ok, I feel like an idiot. The Folsom street fair was an outdoor street event where they set up booths advertising different vendors. I remember going to that, I picked up dog treat for the girls. I was thinking it was some sort of parting event.

I understand how you could get things mixed up. Folsom is a town outside Sacramento, that's where I lived. The walking trails in Folsom are absolutely breathe taking. After getting off work, walking the girls was my high light. Ever been to that part of California?

Yes, I agree. The benefits of doing the will of God will always be 100% better than the cost. (Price paid/ dying to self.) I believe we need violent faith. Every day, Every hour, Every time, you think about it, at all times, speak the word. Real freedom/ victory from anything, you have to be violent. Trusting the only thing that will work. THE WORD- TAKE IT!!

Matthew 11:12 says, And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize- a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion].

I've only been to Orlando once but I loved it, the people I met were outstanding.
My list of must do things when you visit this great city.
1. Get up early, grab a coffee, and head to the beach to watch the sun rise. Fabulous!!
2. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and alligators as you glide across the water on an air boat. This was a bit frightening, at times I was only about 3 feet from a 12ft gator... yikes... I was a bit whiney that day. :)
3. Didn’t make it to Disney yet but I'm hoping I will soon.

In my opinion Orlando is a lot like Northern California. Love the weather! Sure beats this Texas heat.

Oh my goodness, laughing so hard... tears... lol... I have always wanted to go on a kayaking trip it looks fun and relaxing. I can say that I'm too much of a wimp to every attempt a journey like yours. When I went to Hawaii a few years ago, it took me a while to get the nerve up to even snorkel. The thought of anything larger than me creeping up on me is too scary. I at least need the option to run!

lol.. I remember my first spin class, I thought it was going to be a piece of cake because I'm use to running but Oh my goodness was I so wrong. About 15 minutes into the class, I was sucking wind and wondering why on earth I picked the bike on the front row. Glad to hear you made it through the class. My advice is Not to pick any bike on the front row.

tawanda is the saying that Kathy Bates used in Fried green tomatoes. It was her saying for pressing through with power even though she was not as young as she use to be. I love it when she slams into the car at the grocery store and said "I'm older and I have more insurance", if you haven't seen this movie it's a great one to add to any collection.

I have a story for you. I was out and about today enjoy spending time with my niece and on our way home we past a man, women, and a young boy. They had a sign that said, " Need help" it caught my eye when I saw the young boy. My niece said, aren't we going to go see how we can help them. After she said that I felt in my spirit if you do it to the lest of these you have done it unto me. I made the next turn around to give them some money to help. Little did I know that the man was on fire for the Lord and started speaking encouraging words to me. It was awesome to see this man glorifying God through his family's hardship. His last words to me were, it doesn't matter what life may throw at us as long as we have our savior we have everything we need. wow!

@Randy - That very thought came to me about attending angels without notice. My niece has such a tender heart for the Lord, she's 9. I recently bought her the book, Battlefield of the mind for kids. Faith's excited about finishing her book, her reward is Chuck E Cheese. :) fun for me too!

@Randy - I recommend this book. I asked Faith this morning what she had learned so far and her response was fabulous. She has learned that when a bad thought comes to her about being mean to her friends, mom and dad, or her sister that the thought is from satin. If young children can understand at a young age that they do not have to receive and believe the bad and negative thoughts, that's just fabulous!!!

When they discover how much God loves them it will guard there little hearts.

This year hits home with honoring our troops, my adopted sister enlisted in the Army a year ago. I'm so so proud of her.

Their theme is," It's not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog".

I can relate to this theme.

Your very welcome. Did you get the TD Jakes message yet? Just wondering what you thought about the message. How was your 4th? I went to my aunts house today for a BBQ. Have you ever heard of the game called corn hole? I know the name sounds weird but it's the best game ever; did I mentioned that I kicked everyones tail.

Bob and I have emailed a few times and we are planning to meet up at the end of the month, I'm looking forward to the visit. He mentioned the thought of us hanging out and shooting hoops.:) It's funning that he mentioned that in the email b/c I was just thinking the other day about when I hung out with you two at the church playing volleyball ect... that was a blast.

My parents and I were just talking the other day about being religious/ Judgmental. My parents came to know the Lord through the Church of God doctrine and they have said a thousand times over that this kinda of attitude just robs God from showing His forever love. Thank God they have been redeemed for 30+ years from that. I can say that I'm so ever great full for being taught the true principles of Christianity growing up, which are wrapped up into one, unconditional love.
