Man, there are some haters out there, just because i have some favourite teams does not mean i hate other teams, i have respect for each team and like different styles from different countries, seriously. I watch this games for fun, not to fight against anybody or to hate on other countries. I love football from all over the world.

Congratulations to both teams, they both fought like warriors on the field, all i can say that i am proud of both teams, it's sad that Croatia got eliminated, they deserved so much more and were one of the best teams in the tournamet, but i am also happy for Turkey, i saw when Turky finished 3rd in world cup korea/japan 2002 and ever since then i have a lot of respect for them, with thatbeing said i have always had a lot of respect for Croatia too.

In contrast to some of the comments here i just want to say that I as a Brazilian Fan do consider England to be one of the best rivals to compete for the World Cup, they have a great coach: Fabio Capello and also some great young talent, i look forward to great semi-finals against England or Spain, whom i consider our biggest threats. England fans are just as passionate as Brazilian fans, cheers...

That would be really cool, there seems to be a LOT more EPL fans here, but La Liga is awesome too, i especially love watching when the big teams fight eachother like Valencia vs Real MAdrid, that's not even talking about El Classico= Real MAdrid vs Barcelona, always very intense clashes between those two!!!!!

oh yeah buddy, well, that was round one, our revenge against Barca and Liverpool are coming!!! I like both those teams, liverpool being my fav from england and i consider Barca a great rival, but Real Madrid are better and the only reason we lost against Barca was because it was our first game with a brand new coach, but we'll see, there is a second Leg agaisnt Liverpool coming up and Barcelona have still to visit us at the Bernabeu. :D

No, but for this game, both teams went out to attack and look for the victory, Barca was much superior in that respect... Real madrid could have played a defensive game, but they wanted to win and get the 3 points they needed, the reality is however what you saw in the game, they crushed us 6-2.. :(
