in Feinstein reportedly had nothing to do with Warren choice; it was Obama. on AMERICAblog
Welcome to being under the Obama bus...you were warned...many of us long time progressives tried to warn you...can't wait to see how he 'reverses' himself on FISA...

btw...guess who has always been there for the gay and lesbian community...that's right...Hillary Clinton...she would not have insulted you this way...you can bet your life on that...

first Obama divides the women in his own democratic party, with his female supporters attacking Hillary...I will never forget CongresswomanJan Shakosky or whatever her name is stammering on the cable networks demanding to know "Who does Hillary Clinton think she is?" and then of course, there is the usual cast of characters who sabotaged Hillary - Brazile, Pelosi, McCaskill, etc...

so now Obama expects the Democratic women, and Hillary, in particular, to go out and further do his dirty work to bring down a republican woman...

Let Obama rely on one of his female pitbulls and leave Hillary alone...she has done above and beyond for him...it is time for Hillary to get back to her own career and helping other Democratic candidates down the ticket get elected to strengthen the congress as she as always done...it is not Hillary's responsibility to do the heavy lifting for Obama...do it yourself...or send a man...

in The RBC meeting will be irrelevant on Bang the Drum
guess what...you try to make Hillary Clinton irrelevant and Obama will lose for sure...what the Obama camp and the media cannot understand that it is no longer just Hillary...it is her supporters...her army...her coalition...you mess with them and you better go recruit republicans because half the Democratic base will walk away...and believe me, the women are not falling for the Roe v Wade threat...it is not 1973...and we are not kidding...we have had with the abuse, the insults and threats...

Karoli This woman (me) feels abused and threatened by the Clinton campaign, who has bullied, harassed and threatened me at every opportunity. If you want to pick up your toys and go home that's your choice just as it will be miine to hold her and her supporters accountable for every life lost, male and female, as a result of a mccain presidency.

FAIRLY - means to allow the two states to have two revotes...Obama is blocking that
Obama got about 500,000 votes in Florida and Hillary got about 800,000 votes...that is
a lot of votes people took the time to go to register...If Obama doesn't want to count them
let's have another go at it for the sake of the voters rights

Take a look at the piece CNN did last week on the Michigan revote...the legislatures
that stopped the revote were the Obama legislators...they were interviewed and are right
there on camera gleefully saying that stopped it...The local reporter is also interviewed
and he confirms that the Obama campaign stopped the revote...

like I said...this is not about Obama or Clinton...this is about the rights of the voters
and there is no way Obama is going to be able to run away from this without something
sticking on him...because he is the one stopping the revotes...

plain and simple...and that is the truth and everyone knows it...

He doesn't look fair and he doesn't look confident or brave...he looks like he is trying to
weasal out of a fair race that includes all fifty states in the USA...

next to be exposed will be all the corruption the Obama campaign has perpetrated in the c
caucuses...wait until all those documented stories come out...

we will see who plays fair and who cheats...

the problem with the Obama supporters, Tyke, for example...they do not seem to understand that the votes and the delegates in Fl and Mi are beyond who anyone favors as their candidate..it is not about Obama and Clinton...it is about the democratic principle of one person, one vote...and voter suppression and voter denial...it is about the VOTERS...

The GOP will have the moral authority over the sanctity of the votes if Fl and Mi are denied...further the voters in both states are already so disgusted that if Obama wins the nomination he can basically kiss those states good bye because he blocked the primary votes, any chance of Revotes, and totally disrespected the voters...

I am in Florida and believe me, I know what I am warning you about...there are so many democrats right now planning on either not voting or becoming McCain Democrats...the feeling is why be loyal to a party that does not even count my vote...and on top of that Florida has a moderate Republican governor who is fighting for the Democratic votes...if Charlie Crist, the governor is on the ticket with McCain...you can completely forget Florida...and the Democrats should be winning this state...Hillary got 300,000 more votes than McCain here...

...right now the disrespect is palatable...

Florida and Michigan, besides having their votes denied, have been denied all the rallys, town halls, candidates coming to visit and the excitement all the other states are experiencing...these two states have been cut out of the primary experience...

...with the exception of Obama who was the only candidate to run ads in Florida on TV and the radio for over one week nonstop...he was the only one that broke the rule...

The Democrats are going to be humiliated by the Republicans for depriving two states of their votes and delegates...and all Obama can offer is that he wants to split them 50/50 when he has not earned them...and he is afraid of a revote...his idea is to run out the clock...

...and typically Obama supporters will respond with something insulting or some immature swipe at Hillary...maybe it is because they are new to politics, or new to the Democratic Party...and they view this more like a football game...

...perhaps they are too young to remember in 2000 the Democratic Party went to the Supreme court to make sure EVERY SINGLE VOTE WAS COUNTED IN FLORIDA...
The Democratic Party did that because we fought for the importance and respect of every vote...we cared about every voter in those days...

...if the Democratic Party sells it soul for the benefit of some 'rules' the DNC made up and to protect a false lead of one candidate...the moral high ground of the Democractic Party will be gone forever...and a dangerous precedent will be established for any state and voters in future elections...

...something tells me the Obama supporters don't really care about those Democratic principles...they care about winning any way the can...and the hell with the voters of Fl and Mi if they get in the way...this is very short sighted and karma will come back to them...

Tyke You are ignoring the clear evidence linked to here that Clinton's campaign has been doing ALL of the things you accuse Obama of.

Obama ran a national ad buy that aired in Florida because the network people told him, that was the only way it could run. Obama went to the DNC BEFORE the ad ran and said he would pull it entirely if it violated the rules. The DNC ruled that it didn't - so it ran.

Obama has ALWAYS said that he favors seating the FL and MI delegations and will do whatever the DNC rules. Clinton keeps proposing total unrealistic and unfair "solutions" then whining that Obama is blocking the process when the state's own legislature says they won't go along with her delegate grab. It is all a game with her - the people of these states are just pawns in her game. She agreed in writing not to seat either stats' delegates and only got religion about their rights when she didn't get anointed as the nominee after super Tuesday as she expected.

I support seating the MI and FL delegations and always have - as long as it is done FAIRLY. Neither state has had a sanctioned primary so those results are moot. Just handing one candidate a bunch of delegates because she cried loudest isn't the fair way to do it.

I could not agree more with Bill Clinton...if the Obama supporters were being honest they know they would feel the same way...the Obama people screamed voter suppression in Nevada and yet they are OK with disenfranchising two states and over 4 million votes...

votes, some of which come from Florida, votes that real Democrats went all the way to the supreme court to protect in 2000 and now democrats who support Obama want to say don't exist because Howard Dean and the DNC created selective RULES that exclude two whole states...

The Republican votes in those two states ARE COUNTED...it is the Democrats that are DENYING THE VOTING RIGHTS OF THE VOTERS IN THOSE TWO STATES...

The Republicans are going to make the Democrats the laughing stock of the country over this...this is a fundamental right each voter assumes they have and the DNC is making a mockery out of Democracy while in denial that many in the Democratic base are walking away in disgust and have stopped giving money to the DNC until the votes are counted

...on top of this...there are endless horror stories about how Obama's camp has strong armed the caucuses and pulled all kinds of dirty tricks...the caucus system is not fair to the working people who cannot attend, to the seniors that do not have the stamina to fight the Obama people, and to parents and others who cannot devote the time required at a caucus...the caucus system ALSO DENIES THE VOTER OF THEIR ONE VOTE AND SECRET BALLOT...

AND THE GENERAL ELECTION DOES NOT HOLD CAUCUSES...duh!

..the whole Obama campaign is built on manipulation and now VOTER SUPPRESSION...

Bill Clinton is absolutely right...and the base of the Democratic party...the seniors, women, latinos, working class regular people, asians...agree with our twice elected Democratic President...the only one who has proven to democrats that he knows how to win national elections...

Good luck to the DNC when half the base has walked away, stays home or becomes MCCain Democrats in the GE...

Good Luck with a totally unvetted candidate that the MSM has protected like Obama...good luck when the republicans unload on him nationally nonstop...

Good Luck following Donna Brazile, Dean, Kerry and Kennedy who have all proven themselves as knowing how to lose a General Election...

Good Luck to all the Dems that are in severe denial...

Tyke Your hero Bill got his first nomination in '92 largely because of momentum from several caucus wins.

oops
ExistentialKid Spoken like a true...Republican?

Why don't you slip back in time and re-read what actually happened in regards to MI & FL ?

DNC said "You broke the rules, we're punishing you," and Hillary said, "Yeah. Punished." And then what does she do? She proclaims victory in FL & MI - because she kept her name on the ballot.

I've lost count, but i think this was #17 out of (now in the hundreds) all the things she's recently done that make me want to beat the crap out of someone. And I'm not even a violent person...

in Poll Shows Obama Weathering Controversy -- Political Wire on Political Wire
I noticed everyone that is pushing this NBC/WSJ poll fails to mention that the poll oversampled AA by 177 people from a total of 700 people…the poll is basically meaningless and obviously NBC is using it for its daily talking points on MSNBC and NBC in its daily drumbeat against Hillary…the real test will be the voters in PA and thereafter…

a better poll is the Gallup poll that indicates that 41% of the Democrats supporting Hillary will either vote for McCain or not vote…so Obama is losing 41% of Hillary’s Democratic support…

Good Luck getting elected without the Democratic base

Tyke Uh no - you apparently do not understand survey sampling and correction factors used for deliberate oversampling of a population. I suppose most people don't but here goes:

A pollster will sometimes over sample one segment of the a population in order to be able to do statistical analysis within the specific segment. Then when that over sampled population's results are put back with the rest of the survey results they are weighted (reduced in value) to reflect how big the segment actually is.

This is a very common and completely statistically valid method.

This poll and its results are not skewed.
Tyke I guess it isn't surprising that Hillary's supporters are saying they would vote for the candidate she has endorsed (McCain) rather than the candidate she vilifies with racial slurs.

If she would stop running as a Republican maybe this could change.
