Alexa is "rigged" for their advertiser, "AdBrite". It you don't believe me, check out "who" is advertising on Alexa.com right now.

AdBrite jumped from nothing to within 1000. Alexa doesn't even "say" their new sources, which makes me curious to why they even have a "new" or should I say, "rigged" system.

Good thing I am already using other stat sources such as compete.com or quanticast.

As a blogger for 2 years, Alexa just "tanked" their own system, how stupid is that?!?

Aye for one wouldn't pay for a new 3G service. What Apple needs is WiMax, none of that 3G is never fast, especially if you are not in a metropolitan area.

Sprint's CDMA on average is faster and there are more antennas.

Hi there, you don't need any tables for the DS1620, you just need to talk to it
using the SPI protocol. If you have any Basic programming experience, you can refer to the above Program Source, which you probably easily convert to 8051's C language.

Oh yeah, you can do that for the cathode side, but you still need to connect the anode side to i/o pins if you want to control it. That's a very good idea! Will implement that in our next DIY!

Hi Mike,

Yes 2600mcd should work fine. As long as they are bright enough to see it shouldn't matter too much. The 220 Ohm will work fine too. The LEDs should be perpendicular to the blade of the club using the pipe clamp and I found it works pretty good once clamped.

Yes, it should definitely help your golf swing as long as you align the LEDs perpendicular to the "blade" of the club. _|_ like that... the underscore would be the LEDs and the | would be the blade. You can also put the LEDs near the center of the blade too...

Hi mike, you can use a smaller battery or get a larger clamp. You can probably use a switch but the battery connector works okay... The blade is the straight edge part of the clubhead.

Hi Mike, as long as the golf club is stainless steel not graphite shaft,
it should be fine as I've personally put on my nice Titleist clubs to test it out.
It might crush the battery a bit but the shaft should be fine. The stainless shaft of the golf club is much stronger metal than the metal battery is made of.

Oh yeah, update, after trying this gizmo while testing it, my golf game improved dramatically when I played yesteday. I haven't hit any balls at the range all I did was swing this training aid and I had the best ball-striking day in a long time!

UPDATE: I've been testing this hack and it works. But for injecting packets into the network, you really need to use a Linux OS or Mac OS. If anyone got any better tricks for Windows users, let us know!

This should get you started I think... you just need to put the RGB controller inside a wider panel. Plus you will probably need to use some RGB leds instead of separate ones since the light reflection to the panel distance is gonna be very short...

Hmmm...well it doesn't hurt to give it a try. My car guzzles so much gas and I am always on the go, I will do anything to lower gas prices. Maybe I can just starting driving a motorcycle now...well my motorcycle permit just expired...just gotta make sure not to get pulled over... :p

Haha, yes, the security of networks need to be changed. Maybe if everyone shared their wireless networks, it might work all right. Just make same WEP passwords so it's encrypted yet everyone can use. We are really wasting a lot of technology by having so many wireless networks just floating everywhere and some are not used at all...

Hmmm... I think you may be right that this device does not realase HHO... But it is a mighty cheap solution to Turbo engine cars and water injection. Although I would prefer more sophicated nozzle water injection systems.

Yes, lzl, this site is founded on hacking. Our title has "hack" in it, which mean we drove traffic to our site using hacks like Brian used. Don't call me a hacker, I am just doing something I like to do, break stuff so it can be molded into something better.

When you play golf, you are allowed to get 1 club of relief from the hazard let's say. NOW, there used to be no rule for which club you can use... Well, you'd probably use the longest club in your bag right?

Just like that, we had a contest about who can comment most, as long as it wasn't spam about viagra, xxx, and whatever crap.

So in all, we hail the hackers who can use a macro program to make more comments!

I am sorry if this has disappoint you and other good commentators, next time we have a contest, which we will for a Halo UV Vac worth $400. (P.S. Who ever submits most stuff to our new site http://makepono.com will get the vac at the end of this month.

Oh yeah, my Vista doesn't load some programs... You can use a VMware to launch an XP from Vista 64bit... the only problem is, Vista has to support your driver before VM can recognize it.

Well, the real benefit is that you don't have to own your own webpage. If you start from scratch and try to build your own webpage, it will at least cost you $100 per year for server and you have to somehow design it. Now, if you did that, you'd have to also figure out how to bring traffic to your site.

By buying a page for only $5, you get free viral marketing, no need for web hosting, and potentially sell your keyword page for thousand times more when the website gets bigger and loaded with content.

Well, that's the simple idea but we are working on more ideas right now for another new site too. :)

We'd promote each business ad through the blog and search engine optimization. As the site popularity grows, the site's page rank will grow and those keywords will start ranking higher on the first page, further bringing more traffic.

We'd also reinvest all money back into online/offline advertising. We have a voting feature where the best ads get voted to the top. That way, people can find the best business ideas and also leave reviews and more...

The unique visitors would start at about 40,000 a month and eventually grow to 4 million per month or 40 million or even more... that'd be worth way more than $100 you've invested and ads would go for a lot more then.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us Tom. I believe that the case must be the same with everyone, if there's one bad experience, that's not providing equal support for Dreamhosts' customers or whoever it is. I am still not convinced. Although there is a "monthly" bandwidth limit, that's not the problem with Dreamhost, they also have hidden "daily" bandwidth.

I think when you reboot your server, this setting gets resetted. You can put it in a file somewhere so it starts when your server reboots, I forgot how to do this...

Wow, I am beginning to think that circumcision is still a topic not decided topic by the masses...
I am confused!

Another thought I do have in the back of my mind is that circumcision could be a "money maker" for doctors to proceed with the surgery. Could that be another "American" motivating factor in our American society? Lol...I think medical field and insurance is really fucked up as far as "motivating" doctors and alike to promote new drugs and new surgery methods...

Well... I am still neutral, I am not gonna believe any of you yet until someone who can prove they have something to back it up such as "I am a doctor with circumcision experience and I have seen 5 of 100 babies dies from it" or "Circumcision has 100% proved to be effective at preventing HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases...

Good advice, although I have never worn any protection before. I believe all green lasers have wavelength of 532nm so you'd only need one type of laser protection for green lasers, right?

Actually it's pretty accurate because the measurements are done by the microcontroller on the accelerometer. That's the beauty of it.

Try changing the values, start with startvalue at 0 and endvalue 100.

Depending on your server settings, the amount of tags you can import at a time can vary.

For me I could do 5000 tags at a time. I had about 50,000 tags so...

You might be okay doing 500 to 1000 tags at a time.

Well, I used to have AT&T;(Cingular back then), I paid $200 to cancel Cingular because cellular internet was important to me. (I have to check to make sure my websites are running.)

I even did real life testing with AT&T;, Verizon, Sprint, and T-mobile.

Verizon and Sprint phones worked out to be the fastest. Cingular was way too slow.

Since AT&T; bought Cingular, it's like they bought it when Cingular was dying...

Well, it's a surprise to me that iPhone went with slow AT&T;, I believe it's because of "money" and who had more.

My best suggestion is to get another network ASAP, especially if broadband internet is live and death to you (like it is to me). :)

Oops, yes Gucci and LV, lol, yes maybe that's not American but what you don't realize is that most people in Korea don't buy a phone without TV. This isn't the same thing as phones that work based on IP, it's all radio frequency so I don't think YouTube is the future.

YouTube is great but it's still really old Flash technology that only works if you have internet.

Well, I am talking about the "cheap" solution to load balance, of course if you had money for multiple servers, that'd be another story.

Besides, iptables can't do load balance in a simple way,
this is a great solution for people who can afford 1 dedicated server. (like this one but believe me I'd need at least 2 servers but running on one here)

It's like you are saying you can get a high-powered turbo for your car but most people can't afford it and it's not a viable solution if you have to pay $2000/month.

Yeah, MAC address filter actually speeds down your speed, I think WEP is good enough for most security, I actually tried to stick with 64-bit, it's pretty rare that someone will hack WEP, although it is possible.

More Security = More inhibition and slower speeds

Less Security = More vulnerability but faster speeds.

For movies such as YouTube, you can speed up your Flash movies simply by using QoS feature, Quality of Service. You can select "Flash" under QoS, this will priotize your router to route Flash files faster than any other services such as http, ftp, etc...etc...

I have used QoS with a little bit of results so don't expect too much gain.

I used BASIC code, which is a slightly modified version for embedded computers, you need to check out http://cubloc.com for that. Basically their computer chips allow you to code in BASIC, pretty much going back to the 80s, a lot easier than C or C++.

Hmm... I talk to my friends who are plumbers, they deal with all type of stuff including high heat and says there's absolutely no problem using the pipes. I don't know PVC or whatever, but I know these guys know their stuff, they are like Super Mario plumbers.

And there's no turbo on this Z we are doing on, so there's no high heat involved. Plus, he did install this thing that goes over the engine manfold, (i forgot what its cold), to keep the overall inside-hood temp down.

Yes, I found out more information and the intake part works perfectly as the internal temperature of the intake doesn't ever go over 90 degrees plus the ABS piping they used can handle up to 300+ degrees.

Yeah I think that's the problem with it, AT&T; can be fast or slow depending on where you are located. But based on intensive testing on different locations, iPhone 3G didn't have a fast speeds on average where Sprint and Verizon loaded fast regardless of locations.

But yes, it's hard to say bad things about your own phone.

Don't get me wrong, I love the iPhone, I hate AT&T.;

Yeah, AT&T; is simply still a developing company sorta like a developing country in a sense. Well, my advice is just boycott AT&T; for anything and everything if you really want to be a smart consumer and not fall to mass-media.

Sprint or Verizon is pretty fast still, they were both on 3G for couple years while AT&T; tried to market their 3G like it's something new. (IT'S NOT, AT&T; is basically saying they have HDTV now when everyone else had them. This reminds me of a Comcast commercial...not that I like Comcast either.)

I haven't actually tried this DeLonghi one but tried a portable AC similar to it on a house for a small bedroom. The portable ACs take up a LOT of amps. (this one probably around 15amps)

Well, it the end, we had to call PG&E; to get the breakers to 30 amps because the fuse kept breaking.

You might want to check what kind of power support you have on your boat. If it has enough capacity then my advice is to go for it.

But then again, don't blame me if you get stuck in the middle of the ocean as I am no expert on ACs but basic electronics I learned at work and college. :)

I called your company about 8 months ago to cancel private registration only and the woman I talked to (I believe her name was Jennifer or something like that) told me she would.
I made it clear about 2-3 times before hanging up the phone. I believe it was in retaliation to my phone call or something but that should NEVER HAPPEN.

1 week later, I found that my domain was CANCELLED along with my private registration.

Now, I am busy guy, I don't call twice and I am not here to tell you how to run your business but what happened was either discriminate or simply really dumb.

Yes, it is that hard actually, not easy.

2. Do not have that something to keep things going long enough.
You can get lots of ideas by searching on Google, using Google Alerts, subscribing to RSS feeds. You don't have to write 100% original content.

I can do 10 posts a day, but after I finish the 10th, my brain is fried. I’m just not that good at it, so I have to find different ways to get the posts done.
Yes, my brain is fried daily after 30+ posts. Once your brain burns, that's when you will start getting a lot of web traffic. :)

Well, for one, anytime you can install an operating system designed for another computer, it is considered a "hack" of some sort.

For two, Microsoft's revenue might be big but their popularity is nothing compared to Apple's. Everyone hates the blue death screen, there's no blue death in Apple. I think we are talking more in terms of opinions, not just money.

In my mind, Microsoft's monopoly of installing Windows on every PC sold has got them there, not because they are good. Why do I have to re-install Windows, Firefox, etc...etc... everytime I buy a computer?

You can probably go to Settings->Control Panel->Network Connections->Local Area Connection->Support then click on Details for Windows XP, Vista should be similar. Physical address is the MAC address in Hex.

Actually, my thoughts have turned a little more positive for Vista, I have it on my laptop for testing but I think more people have moved on to Windows 7, which is a viable solution that MS made since Vista was just not going to get an image makeover even with Mojave experiment.

I don't think you'd get pulled over, cops usually only check for people going over carpool lanes, it's impossible for them to check if people actually have FasTrak in their cars.

You know, there's an island in Korea that's made up of landfill. Well they had landfill that started producing natural gas so now they have all kinds of plants growing. They even got a soccer stadium and a golf course on that landfill island. Let me see if I can find more detailed info...

I was at IKEA about 10 times during the last month.
They sell plastic bags for 5 cents each. They also sell huge re-usable IKEA bags for 59 cents each. I personally bought 2 of the huge bags... let me see if i can take some pictures here...

You know, DreamHost hides behind the GREEN webhost company, but in my experience, they suck.

Everytime there is too much traffic, my website would say, "website is down!".

So even though I am not negative, DreamHost makes way too much money for the crappy service they provide. That's why I moved wagthis.com to Cari.net....

Sorry for being so negative but this is an honest consumer opinion,
DreamHost can suck my a**, they suck as hell, stop hiding behind all that green stuff and livin' it up.

They probably live it up too much that's why my website stops workin'....
