Hated 12. Smug was the perfect word to describe it.

I really loved Trek, but it's 'Spaceballs' compared to BSG.

The signal to noise ratio of interesting thought provoking Trek content vs 'Neelix gets trapped in the holodeck with Luxanna Troi and Reg Barclay' - type situations was just too high.

(I do realize there was no such episode, and that Neelix never even made it to a-Quad)

Trek was good in the early 90's, but that would be a horrible waste of time watching all those old episodes (especially those pre-7/9 Voyager episodes!)

Really looking forward to the movie though. :)

Caught Razor online a few weeks ago.

Looking forward to hearing what you think of it.

Canada rocks - Free health care. A democratically elected gov't. Beautiful women.

OH - and from Caprica to Kobal, every second of Battlestar Galactica is filmed in Canada too. :)

Ross - I actually was injured while skydiving in Arizona once. Even though I had health coverage for 'merica, I was so worried about the hassle, I just lived with the pain (I screwed up my shoulder, and convinced myself it was not very serious)

Jumped for the rest of the week (cautiously) and when I got back to Canada, the pain was suddenly getting worse, so I went and saw a doc here. She was an idiot, so I went and saw a physiotherapist. She was a babe, and brilliant, and she fixed me up.

All free.

The Canadians in that movie were not afraid of an American hospital, they were afraid of being in one without coverage. As a Canuck, I can confirm that it's totally true. I won't set foot in that country without travel insurance, because if I did, it would mean a lifetime of debt to pay off if I needed a hospital visit.

Moore's portrayal of France reminded me of, well, France. It's a bloody fine country and it's sad that so many Americans (A) don't realize what a great place it is, and (B) don't understand how closely linked the two countries really are.

As far as health care is concerned, I am most worried about the 12 Colonies of Kobol. Did you know the let the doctors smoke while they work? It's horrible.

That was me that added WTF. Thought it was appropriate - did not think it would top the results though! January is so bloody far away. Too far actually.

I really do not want to see Saul Tigh or Chief Tyrol conducting sabotage aboard Galactica.

I hate that they have taken these characters and ruined them like that. (Hope I am proven wrong though) Tyrol and Tigh in particular. No real comment on Anders or Tori - too new for me to think about it much.

There was a DS9 episode where Worf was on trial - thought it was one of the best ever. Guess you just had to be a fan. :)

I totally agree with you about Eye Of Jupiter Pt 1 being the last 'holy shit!' style episode. Wicked ending on that one. The 2nd half of season 3 has been kind of blah.

Oh - and Lampkin/Balter as 2/3rds of a Threesome? Gross. No to that. I'd rather go look at the Feb PB pictorial of Caprica 6. It's nice. :)

I was damn glad they ended the New Caprica stuff. It was excellent, powerful stuff, and they ended it at exactly the right time.

I wish they would get on with it though. This felt like a filler episode - not unlike Black Market.

Not the best episode of the season that's for sure. Did you notice that EJ directed this one? I could have done without the constant Baltar-Torture/2 couples at the bar scene swapping.

I thought Darren really liked Second Life. I remember last year he was writing about trying to do a play in Second Life - I could not see the point, but that was the plan for awhile. His parody is hilarious!

Tried Second Life last month for quite some time. It was boring and pointless. My account remains active, but I've stayed out of that 'Verse for quite ahilw with no wish to go back.

Yep- the chief looked fat.

There were 4 basestars.

Wicked ending to Eye of Jupiter - reminded me of the standoff with the Pegasus last season (which I just watched for the first time about a month ago...I'm a BSG Noob!!)

I also thought Adama and Roslyn would be busting out the smokes at that point.

D rocks - she deserves batter than to be jerked around by a guy who still pines some some messed up chick like Starbuck. It's not that I don't like Starbuck, in some ways I think she's awesome, but I'd take Duala (sp?) anyday.

Didn't like this episode (or that last one, Hero) much at all.
