in My Web 2.0 Expo Keynote: until Best Buy adds people to its website our jobs are not done on Scobleizer
Robert,
I think Best Buy is more aggressive and doing more than you realize. It's worth your time to check out this post on how they are using their APIs to replicate the in-store experience online, and this one on the work they are doing around Remix.
If you aren't already, you may want to follow @BestBuyRemix (Keith Burtis, Remix community manager) and @micheleazar (VP of social channels).
Mike
Disclosure: I work with Mashery, which provides the API platform for Best Buy.

I need to see the hottest technology launches at DEMO 09 because I'm not a banker and Mashable spotting my registration fee is as close to a bailout as I'll get this year.

Analytics are going to continue to take on greater importance and give web site owners greater power. Lookery recently started offering detailed audience and search analytics data to its users: http://blog.lookery.com/2008/09/19/want-access-... It will be interesting to watch how people/companies use this data to adapt their content and services.

I work with a community created specifically for independent artists and labels (www.babulous.com). They are in beta right now, but definitely looking to provide a place for those who got shafted by MySpace (Irony? Babulous has the most active music app on MySpace's main rival, Facebook).

in 5 Great Code Search Engines! on The Knight Knetwork
David, thanks for noticing Krugle. They are definitely worth keeping an eye on. AltSearchEngines just did a walk-through with them that you might find interesting.
