We all suffer the same decisions about what to participate in, and what not to.

Until a year or so ago, I was very much a "creator" on the internet - I developed and supported several open source projects and websites... one of which has several thousand users. Eventually I made the decision to step back and start participating.

It's been fun. I've discovered people like yourself and Leo Laporte, and great services that make my life much easier like FriendFeed.

I have been looking at Disqus over the last few days and finally implemented it on my blog today - I had concerns over comment ownership, but in the end there are just too many benefits (integration with Friendfeed being one of them)

Quietly impressed with it so far. It's obviously fairly mature within Google - nobody turns out a version 1.0 this good.

I just wandered back in here after a couple of months not reading any blogs at all - yours was the first I sat and read (still in my PJs with a coffee - it's a slow start here today).

Sat reading it with a huge grin... we have Wii Fit and are all in denial :)
