We stopped at Tags and Great Harvest looking for something to bring to the meet up... almost got cupcakes from Tags, but ended up with amazing brownies and sticky buns from Great Harvest.

Life is like blogging - sometimes all you've got is fluff and I think that's ok. I think that's actually more than ok. I like it when life is fluffy, there are plenty of times when it is so. not. fluffy. We can't, or shouldn't, just wait for the not fluffy stuff to come along. We should blog it all. Every little piece. Fluff is good. Long live fluff.

I saw Glen open for Melissa last Friday. He did a terrific job and I enjoyed his performance quite a bit. I was a Toad fan but had never seen them perform. I'm definitely a Glen Phillips fan, now.
But I have to ask, how can you not be a Ferrick fan?

But yea, the yahoo podcast search works pretty well. I like the tag cloud quite a bit.

Personally, I think the succkiest part of my world right now is the project going in the wrong direction. So, be grumpy, I'm grumpy right along with you. ERs are a part of my life and I hate that but it's not the same as good project gone bad. :-)

Oh good grief. People sell their souls for their jobs all of the time, I know this from personal experience. What would you have had Ellen do, publicly snub Tom Cruise and my poor misguided Katie? That's ridiculous. Ellen did her job, just like you and I do our jobs. Just like good ole Tom did his job.

Here's a question for you, is it possible to love Scoble but hate Microsoft? Hell yea it is. Just like it's possible to love _____ and hate _____ (you fill in the blank for me, I bet you know exactly what I'd put in those two blanks lol).

My darn children somehow remembered that "my drum" is really Christopher's drum that I was keeping safe for him til he was older. He's older now and seems interested in taking it back. Good luck at keeping Sticks' bowl safe for him!

Today's entry was suppose to be a grandma entry but Joseph's appearance changed that. Next week, I'll do it, unless the Virgin Mary makes an appearance in the catfood bowl or something.

Ha I did take that quiz on May 19 at 11:55 am ET to be exact. My ideal pet is a fish. TW also took it, on May 19 at 11:37am and her ideal pet is a big dog. I guess I should feel lucky that we only got Elvis and not one of those huge dogs outside of Petsmart.

I don't, however, like any of the "talent" shows one little bit because the criticism is rarely constructive and often personal. I'm the sarcastic sort, with a wee bit of a mean streak (but you know that) and even I would not go half as far as these shows go. And as you've said, we're only seeing bits and pieces - the real problem, the real meanness is on the editing room floor.

I'm so impressed with the people behind the BlogHer Ad Network. They work hard to bring good ads and get good links into that "More from BlogHer" thing.

And, on BlogHer.com we've started adding some of those "More from BlogHer" links on the sidebar and I hope we'll be doing more of those types of things on the main site.

I'm with you BUT is it possible that you might actually like Melissa Ferrick, the musician not Melissa Ferrick the lesbian? I'm a lesbian. I love Ferrick. (I don't love the darn Indigo Girls, though Amy Ray looked really hot one time I saw her in a kilt skirt but that's another story.)

I don't love Ferrick because she's a lesbian or because I am. I love her because she can freaking play the guitar and her shows are fantastic. (I do sometimes wish there were fewer lesbians in attendance because a good number of them aren't there for her music, they're there because it's a gay girl thing.)

Ha every now and then we get some catalog from a book collector type place and they always have a few "Alice" volumes to chooes from. There are several that I would love to own.

Alice is special, in any variation, but some of them are just amazing.

I'm dark, totally! When my partner came back home to work she struggled with my need to have the office dark but now she's seen the light... err the dark... whatever, it's dark in home our office as it should be.

And this type of division is exactly why I would hate to have to work in an office.
