in Private: Kitt Now Tests Your Blood Sugar on OhGizmo!
I'm a bit naive about glucose testing - when I watch my friends with diabetes test their blood sugar, it usually involves being pricked with a sharp point, causing a drop of blood to appear, which is then carefully places on a one time use testing strip, which is then inserted into the glucose monitor.
The quote: "samples the driver's blood glucose level every few minutes" suggests a radically different way of testing blood sugar levels - or else the driver is going to be very distracted....

Dang! Why is that all my school day ideas get marketed..... guess that's why I'm in IT and not sales...
Back in the mid-eighties as a kid with more time then money I did a bit of dumpster diving and came up with a discarded drip style coffee maker with an analog clock on the front. I ripped the top off (where the coffee grounds and filter go) and discarded the element (it would be not that many years later that I'd start realizing the need for actually making coffee in the morning).
The element was replaced with a piece of wood and the top had a LAMP stuck into it. Along with that I also added an outlet to the side so that at the appropriate time in the morning both the lamp would turn on and my stereo - Sony CD play, with Telarc's recording of the 1812 overture (hey who says kids don't appreciate the classics!).
Ah the good old days. The frankenclocklamp thingy is long gone. Still have the CD (and even the CD player)....

Very neat idea. However, those who have cheaper pots will be out of luck as it does not work with aluminum pots / pans.

250 miles vs 0-60 in 4 seconds.
250 miles is based "On the EPA highway driving cycle". Which probably means, that if you punch it and do 0-60 in under 5 seconds, you may not have enough charge left to drive back....
That said, I'm all for electric vehicles with style!
