Oh when will then learn? Best Buy truly sucks. They don't get it.

This makes great sense from a logical standpoint. I like the quote -- clean, simple and straightforward.

I like what Seth Godin said in his book, The Dip, "Scarcity makes being at the top worth something."

This is an interesting take on Best Buy customer service. I have never had a good experience in that store and the only reason I have returned is because I've already paid for a warranty and I expect them to repair it every time it breaks.

I have even filed with the Attorney General over problems with my computer and their services and it's still underway.

I can't ever recommend Best Buy to anyone and have steered about a dozen friends and family away from them.

BTW this was my first ever experience with them and they lost me from the first purchase.

It's funny to read your blog about this cause I wrote one a few days ago about the lucky wedding date of 7-7-7 but it wasn't until I read this post that I noticed the missed opportunity of someone to capitalize on the sms address of 70707 and promote it today.

Sitting in the airport today I couldn't believe that headline news kept talking about 7-7-7 as the lucky day. Must have been a slow news day.

I was on the phone with a client, who I've been helping to get blogging for a couple months now and this popped up in my reader. It was a perfect example of what blogging is all about (outside of the company stuff that so often takes over our blogs) so I shared it with him. Not cool. I'm with you. I would've rather gotten arrested, taken back into the terminal and found another way home. Screw these airlines that take you hostage.

I owned 2 of these and both were total crap. I'm glad to see they're retiring them. On my first one they told me they couldn't fix the battery problem and offered me $50 towards a new one. After that one didn't work out I just gave up on the palm thing. I just hope my new Motorola Q PDA phone continues to work as well as it has.

I just added 1 & 2 to my Netflix queue -- it's been awhile and I should get reacquainted before 3 comes out. Thanks for sharing.

But seriously I was thinking about this the other day. Getting back to the old saying "it's not what you know, but who you know." Networking and communication is the key to being called out when your services are needed. Expert or not.

Last month I had a client say to me "I don't want my picture in the paper. I just want more business." My response was "I don't want my picture in the paper either unless that picture leads to business without any expense."

Press is the cheapest marketing we can do. That's why we blog. ;-)
