Bloggers who work for EMC are more likely to be blasted by the company for one, I still have some buckshot in my behind from being shot by corporate), are exuberant about what they've been working on.

Known bias does add context to information. And if you read something written by someone who knows something about what it is you're reading about and both they and you think it's awesome afterwards, well then maybe it is actually awesome.

Or not.

Re: Wherefore Art Thou, Solid State Disks?

Lets not forget the Orion class SSD array for Mainframes back in 89. :)

Re: Is Apple Fibbing With Their MacBook Air Renderings?

>gotta look for outlets in the airport!

And on the plane if you're flying long haul. ;)

Re: The Artist Formerly Known As Network Appliance

Egan's Many Children

Re: greenBytes Embraces and Extends ZFS

This is really interesting and meshes well with a ZFS post I was thinking about writing...for the past two months.

Maybe after dinner. ;)

Re: E-Waste: 32 MB Flash Cards

And they won't even offer you a trade in. It doesn't matter if it's an SVC/V-Series/USP/other or some niche flavour of Linux. There were more requests for MacOS X support, which is why it was added, than there are for support of those platforms combined.

Re: Trip Report

Jeff Garlin.
