"Fight hard to keep morale high, it’s the only nonessential you should put a premium on."

Moral in a work setting is the best and most important thing. If you have high moral, you'll see more return from your employees work because they will be confident and comfortable with the work they are achieving.

I think its just like you said, just keep your head up and stay smart about the situation and you'll be able to ride through these tough market times.

in Twine: The Bookmaring Site You Should Use on How To Split An Atom
You seem pretty happy with Twine so I decided to give it a try. I just signed up and set up my profile. Thanks for all the information - sometimes the worst thing about using a new site is trying to figure out how it works. It's nice to be able to skip that step and jump right in.

in Time Sensitive: Ladies in Business Interview Series on Pajama Professional
So true that women are required to do multiple things in this day and age. We have to be a "jack of all trades" so to speak. $97 kind of sounds high priced, but if you think of it as a little bit more than $10 per interview, and add in what information you're getting, it's priceless.

in Utah Lawmakers Want to Go Backwards on Choice on Menstrual Poetry
I actually live in Utah but I haven't heard of this. I agree that women should have control over their own bodies. On a different note, I don't like that Palin is against abortion, even in the case of RAPE. Personally, I think each pregnancy is a personal issue that cannot be dealt with by general laws. There are different circumstances for everyone.

My favorite was "Lickibility
The condition where you will settle for just licking the monitor. Goes for Food sites as well."

It reminds me of that forward everyone sent around that has a pug dog licking the screen. I could do with less Gumminess sites though!

ophelia_chong I would start screaming if my dog licked any of my hardware. Dog drool is gooey.

I just got an email from a site that I had ignored for over a year (surprised it was still around) that it missed me. It is creepy when emails like that sound like ex-boyfriends. "where are you? i miss you! come back!" ewww.

Thanks for commenting! :O)

in The Palin Camp Responds to Matt Damon Video on Menstrual Poetry
"they’re threatened by a candidate who actually has a record of achieving reform and change" I'm sure glad you had something to say about that! I was going to point out her lack of experience. How can she have a record of reform and change? But your points are awesome. I think when Celebrities are even getting involved, this is more than just petty name calling.

in Anatomy Of A Coffee Stain on How To Split An Atom
Eww...Half eaten spider. And I though it was bad to find half of a mangled spider in my sock! I love the WoW one too. Man, that is exactly what my coffee stain would say. (If I played WoW anymore or even drank coffee that is). These were funny! Thanks!

ophelia_chong Thank you! The spider story is true. And I even found a praying mantis once in my salad at a backyard BBQ. Not sure who was more shocked the bug or me. He made it safe back to his leafy home, covered in Ranch Dressing though. :O) Thanks for commenting!

in The Same Movie Again and Again and Again on Menstrual Poetry
Wow...That is interesting!! It's funny that guys watch action shows and we're stuck watching the same type of shows over and over just because we can relate to them, however slightly. I love her reasons to watch them at the end though! Crying for fun...that reminds me of the movie P.S. I Love You,

menstrualpoetry I wanted to watch P.S. I Love You but the boyfriend, who is generally a chick-flick-watching kind of guy, wasn't interested and so I watched it alone while he was sleeping one night and when he woke up and asked me how it was, the only thing I could do was cry all over again as I retold the storyline. I think that was the only movie that had me crying in the beginning as well as the middle and end! It was nuts! But overall, it was a damn good chick flick movie.

I think the company should try to hire someone they trust to do the job, then just check the results their work gets. It is results, that matter in the end.

Isn't it amazing what a few changes can do? That is so cool that her site has grown that much. I like that the classes look to be pretty straight to the point, and how they can fit around your schedule.

I just checked out Cara's site, that is a ton of money she helped raise! I never knew about RAINN until I read this post. I'm glad that people who go through something so horrible now have someone they can call and get help from at any given time.

in I Certainly Don’t Wanna Discuss that Issue–Birth Control or Women on Menstrual Poetry
Wow. This is definitely a touchy issue, but I think everyone here agrees. He shouldn't be the one saying what is or isn't right for each individual woman. And like Nintend Wii For Sale said, if women didn't have a right to take birth control, there would be a lot more pregnancies, which would lead to abortions. Sad part is there would be a lot of teen pregnancies also.

I admit, I would learn a lot more if I were able to just use my phone to do it! I think with as many phones that have internet capability, they won't have too hard of a time developing the program. Great idea.

in Is the Media Promoting Teen Pregnancy? on Menstrual Poetry
No one can blame the media, celebrities, tv shows and latest hit movies. You can't blame the parents, or the young couple. Truth is, it's not any one thing but all things combined. The parents should have talked more, the children could have listened. They could have tried protection or not listened to their friends that wanted to get pregnant with them. It's all situational depending on the person, their upbringing, and their personal beliefs.

Of course no one should believe movies or magazines. They are all about money, not what is morally right! They're going to make the biggest story they can out of something to make the big bucks. I just feel bad that young girls are having babies at the drop of a hat, starving themselves to look thin, wasting money trying to keep up with the latest fashions...Its just sad.

And to reply to Katie's comment above, my grandma had my dad when she turned 17. I can't regret that she did or I wouldn't be here. At least you've learned a lot and your little boy will have more of an understanding.

Being locked out and losing keys is the worst feeling. My brother in law once drove 30 miles just to help me break into my car when I locked the keys in. I'm glad you got in your house without breaking a window.

in Nice Threads You Got There on How To Split An Atom
Alberto, hit a key point here. That's almost as bad as a person who gets frustrated trying to get their point across, and they just keep sending you the same email thinking that it will make more sense the more they send it. I found an easy way to bomb-proof your emails is to print them off and edit them by hand, that way you don't feel rushed.
