Maybe I should inform you that Giggs was the one that was fouled in the box and NOT Ronaldo so there was no reason why you should call Ronaldo a diver for today's performance and not for the others neighter. Does he always play for himself? hmm.. Maybe you should look at his assists and if you think that he does not assist enough goals than that it because he is capable of scoring his own goals rather than creating ones.

And for your information the penalty was rewarded in the 87th minute and not in the 89th. Check your info well hun ;)

And whats wrong with having superstars? Superstars are the ones that can win a match and we have got lots of them: Giggs, Tevez, Anderson, Ronaldo, Rooney, Scholes and lots more.. And guess what? We are proud of them.

And not only Arsenal have got young players. So do us. I bet Anderson, Nani, Tevez, Rooney etc should all be called young players. And a young player like Anderson can win the battle against Fabregas 'cause that what he did in the previous match against you fools.

Yeah, you're top of the table but not for so long. You're gonna earn nothing with all those Africans playing for you, 'cause always remember that you have got 6 weeks without them in January.. The race is long .. So watch out hun .. We're coming back to haunt ya !

We are not afraid of anyone, we know how to handle them well. That's why we're the English Champions 'cause we handled everyone well. Yeah, even Arsenal even tough we lost against you, you weren't able to beat the others you chickens and you were only able to finish in the 4th place.

Yep, Milan are currently in the 12th place of their league. But guess what? You're going to play against them in the Champions League, and that is a big difference because ac you can see they ended up 1st in their table and they give more importancy to that league than the Serie A.

We're gonna have fun with that, just don't worry. The harder the opponent, the more I enjoy it, believe me.

Remember Roma? They were second last season in their league then we beat them with 7 goals. Everyone said that is a harder opponent to play against, but for us no one is hard. It has just to be our day.

Talking about luck, you were lucky enough last Saturday to have managed a win when you didn't even deserved that. For Tottenham not to score that penalty, it was real luck for you.
I don't mind teams being lucky as long as there isn't a maroon like you blabing out about luck.

Nah, not only Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez are United's superstars. Is it because they are the ones who regularly score? It's not fair on the others because it has to be teamwork to win a match and not individuals.

Where's Giggsy, Vida, Ferdinand, Anderson ..?? Aren't those superstars too ? Just because they don't score often it doesn't mean they're not superstars. Look at Ferdinand and Vidic: 2 Great defenders and they form an awesome partnership ! Anderson.. Such a young lad with an awesome potential to become one of the best! Giggs and Scholesyy :: The Living Legends that always were the experienced ones who always teached the young ones what success really is.

A Superstar is some one who has great popular appeal, is a major attraction but also has the ability to perform skillfully and there is no doubt that the ones I mentioned all falls under that criteria.

Superstars don't always be the world best, but are ones of the best surely.

ManUtd had so much superstars in the past:
Cantona, Beckham, Van Nistelrooy, Best, Solskjaer Edwards.

They still have:
Rooney, Giggs, Scholes, Tevez, Hargreaves Ronaldo...

And there are ones to come:
Nani, Anderson.............
And lots more !

Milan were not that good last year in the Serie A but they still went on and on in the Champions League!

Now you were proud that you are gonna face a 12th Serie A team.... So beware because you don't even know what there's waiting for yaa!!

And yes, we don't really care about how the goals are scored, as long as we have 3 points because at the end of the day no one is gonna make an account of what you did..
You could have won 10-0 and scoring great, fuckin' goals...
You only take 3 points!
And you could have won 1-0 with an own goal.
Guess how much points you take? ONLY 3!

You just care how Arsenal are performing.. But guess what hun?
You wil never achieve anything by doing that because you will always be behind us in the league titles and everything.

It was a dull game, neighter team had serious chances to open the score until the introduction of Wayne Rooney, with 20 minutes left...

I'm not saying that without Rooney, we're nothing.. But surely he makes a big difference.. His passing, his enthusiasm, his pace, his energy - he gives his everything in the match.

Also great credit goes to the back four, and also VDS.

Anyways, Rooney is back, hopefully Tevez will be back soon too so the Old United play should be back.

And bdw, we all know that Rooney missed some chances. But we also know that from the little time had had in his dispose to score, he did his job very well. Created the first goal: Rooney, Anderson, Giggs then Ronnie.
& Scoring the 2nd one.

Playing the full 90 mins, no one was capable to score, but we all know what Rooney is capable of as we all know that without him we are weak !

I think that Brown is on the edge of leaving United.. He doesn't want to sign the new contract, and he's playing ******' awesome these days.. ha yeah, so he can impress some managers.
We can't afford losing him.. He's a great defender and is filling Neville's abstence very very good.
But, saying that, we cannot let his contract expires, which it does next Summer... I mean, its not ****** worth it for us to let him leave on a free transfer.. At the moment he is worth 8-12 million, so why should we be carless with his contract?

If Brown leaves, there is no need to worry. Fergie knows whats he is doing and believe me, there's Pique.. He already showed what he is capable of - 2 matches in the Champions League = 2 goals.

Fergie offered him a new contract.. its up to him now - Take it or leave it.

No ronron, Brown was not assured first team football. Maybe, it does not sound fair, but obviously, Fergie prefers the team's captain that is Neville rather than Brown, and he is surely gonna make Gary his main priority. As I said, it may not sound fair, 'cause Brown is playing excellent, but that's how things are.

In my opinion, I think that the most reason that makes sense is that Brown may be aware that when Neville returns, he will be back in the sidelines and he got used to first team football now, and will not tolerate himself to be on the sidelines.

To be honest, I don't blame him. You saw Van Nistelrooy, he left immadiately when he realised that Saha took his place.

Not everyone is like Fletcher and O'Shea - They may not be world class players but I'll tell ya, they're up there in the top of the most loyal players. They are great servants to the club, just how Solskjaer was.

Brown is surely aware of the whole situation. We just have to wiat and see. I don't want him to leave, but if a player is not happy in the club then what's the point in keeping him? Let him go in January, or else letting him go in a free transfer would be total S.T.U.P.I.D.

Till now I only talked to him once, because I addedn him like two weeks ago and he comes online very rarely. The first time I talked to him was 2 days ago.

I'm from Malta, and when I told him that I'm from there he told me oh nice, its my second home place there. That's a proof he is the real Gary, 'cause he have a place here in Malta and for his honeymoon he also came here. Then I told him when he is going to be back? Not that we don't like Brown but we can never forget our captain. He told me that he is going to return very very soon and could also play nxt Saturday. And its true, he came very soon.

In my opinion I think we need a striker more than everything. Saha is struggling and we don't know if Manucho will take time to settle. Our 2 fully strikers that I can really put my mind on are Tevez and Rooney - surely not enough, because we saw in the previous matches that we struggle without one of them. We just don't need a young striker - but a professional one, who already proved what he's capable of - Berbatov comes to mind.

Well, Cory said everything and I don't think there is anything to add, but anyways.. I'll say my opinion, anyways.. :)

Ok, we scored 6 goals and I should be proud of our attack but the most thing that made me happy yesterday was seeing Carrick playing as he used to do last season. Some of his tackles and passes were awesome. I felt very relieved because it would be a shame to see this lad being left on the sidelines. Well done Carrick! I hope he keeps on improving.

Our performance yesterday was one which should frighten any opponent. and yes, that should frighten Arsenal too.

Ronaldo's got his long awaited hatrick - and he surely deserves it. He's a great, young player and is leaving everyone with his mouth open.. Some of his tricks are out of this world.

Tevez is showing that it was worth it the waiting saga for him and the amount of money we paid for his service. Such an awesome young lad, and he's at his best.

Nah, Rooney didn't score any goals but he wasn't frustrated and he enjoyed the match. He was unlucky not to score but anyways, he doesn't need to score to show us what he is capable of.

Ferdinand - Compared to last season, he already scored 3 goals :) Not much for a striker but much from a defender. It was a great strike and I loved his goal - Not only because it is nice to see us scoring more and more goals but also because there was Capello... And he is planning to make him his captain.. A defender who is high class in defending and can score a couple of goals is top prioirity.. So watch out ;)

It was not only Rooney unfortunate not to score but also Danny Simpson. I can see his goal coming sooner because he is capable of striking as well.

We could have scored a dozen goals but their keeper made decent saves and there was also a defender who cleared a cuople of goals from the line.. Not sure if his name is Taylor..

Anyways... We're back on top.. and in style ;)
Watch out for more Arsenal..

I can only hope for 2 things: That we keep on scoring and scoring and keep a clean sheet and for also Carrick to keep on doing his thing. I was very proud of him yesterday and he also had a chance of scoring.

Aha, we should have had 1 penalty for sure. But then to be honest, Newcastle should have had that goal that was ruled offside. It was NOT an offside. It was only when Ferdinand and the others turned to the referee that he whistled.

But who cares if it should have been a penalty or not when we won the match 6-0?

Oh, it was a difficult match and we made it difficult for ourselves too especially in the first stages of the match.

It wasn't until Spurs goal that we really meant business. It was our wake up call. Without Vidic our backline was not as consistent as usual. Ferdinand and Vidic are the main two defenders and if one of them is missing, then there will be some problems.

Anderson should be played more oftenly. He is such a lively lad, and his best is yet to come. I'm still waiting for his first goal :)

Ronaldo's consistency is continuing and it seems as if there is no end for it - He is the best player of the world, he is the one scoring lots of goals and surely, Kaka doesn't even begin with him. No way man.

Another solid performance from Carrick and Hargreaves.. Rooney was lively once again but his goal never came. Tevez opened the score and his goal gave us courage to continue fighting for the win.

Nani... On the sidelines and not playing. Why? For me he is an awesome young lad, lots to see from him and sitting on the bench will do him no good.

The referee's decision to sent off Dawson was wrong and harsh. He did touch the ball by his hand but a penalty only was enough. It was a decision coming in our favour but it was not a decision that I agreed with. It was a penalty but not a sending off and this is something which was also said by Fergie.

Some people said that Tottenham deserved something more from this match.. Maybe they did, but we have this ability that can turn things in our favour even when we're not at our best or are having a bad day. Not many teams have this ability, but we have the players to score. So yeah, we deserved the win because at the last, we were the better side.

Yeah fine, Giggs is better than Nani at the moment, but still, last week when we played against Reading, Giggs wasn't playing and Nani was only introduced to the game in the second half. In the begining of the season, Nani was given a lot of chance to play.. But now? Not much as I wished. Anyways, that's Fergie's decision and not mine and I have to respect them.

About the sending off: Yeah, Dawson ruined a goalscoring opportunity but a penalty was enough to create another goalscoring opportunity. A penalty was anough. But this is another decision that its not taken be me, and in this case too I have to respect it altough it came in our favour.

Miguel-Im not saying that Anderson is better than fabregas/gerrard (yet) but in the direct matchups (united v arsenal, united v liverpool) he outplayed them. While those 2 had a very quite game by their standards, Anderson was really impressive. Its the same as using the United v Milan 2nd leg last yera as the reason Kaka is better than Ronaldo. Personally, I think it is terrible to cmopare based on 1 game, but if everyone else accepts it as logic then I'm going to use it to make my point.

In the Torres-Rooney comparison, I was merely pointing out that they play different styles. Rooney does more than Torres, in terms of build-up. Torres is a natural striker, and imo should score more. Hes better in the air too. Im not trying to say Rooney is better (I think he is, but im biased), instead, i was saying that Torres is NOT better than Rooney. Im making a point for equality. I'm not done, but Ive gotta go...

Yeah agree. I haven't seem much play of him, only his goals in the African Cup but from the little I can see, I can predict that he's gonna be great. 7 yellow cards against our side with the consequence that now Rooney will miss the derby match. Well, I just have to say that altough many of the yellow cards were deservedly, the referee was clearly against us. In my opinion, that elbow hit from Huddlestone to Edwin Van Der Sar was stupid and no questions - nd Jermaine Jenas should have also got a red card. The ref was the main prob yesterday.

We needed Anderson and Nani so much, with Giggs and Scholes it wasn't just workin' out. Anderson or Nani should have started from the start, nd Fergie should make that a rule.. Never leave one of them on the bench. They're just too good to be wasted.
VDS made some fine chances, and he was right to complain to the referee after Berbatov's goal. It was a clear handball from Jenas - he handled the ball into Lennon's path.. & it WAS intentional. And for the appeal, he got a yellow card.. wow, what a decision by Clattenburg. The finest ref on eart.
Rooney deserved a goal.. For me he was the better man of our side altough there isn't much to chose from.. He kept fighting for the ball, running until the last second.
Tevez was our saviour.. without him we would have not grabbed that point. Better than none.
I think Fergie was right to make the Hargreaves- Carrick substitution in the begining of the half time.. Hargreaves is better than Carrick but today he just wasn't in the mood of stayin calm - there was sumthin wrong in him.
Ronaldo was quite throughout the 90 minutes.. I was expecting this, because against big teams, he is nearly invisible.. Saying that, he STILL is the best player livin' on earth at the moment. The opponents stay around him, not to let him make a move and that lets the other players in space.

Big appluas to Ramos' side.. But they threw away 2 points which they deserved.. Another hard day for United, yet Tevez was capable enough break our deadlock..

The only positive thing that I can see in this match is that once again we proved that we can have the worst day ever but still manage to get somethin' from it.. Its because we keep on fighting until the last second - sumthin' which no team can do every single match..

Capello knows what he is doing - He's not choosing players by reputation but by current form and that is how things should be done.
Lampard, Becks and Robinson were dropped because they are not good enough at the moment, and weren't choose just because they have a high reputation.

I tought Rooney, Bentley and Joe Cole were awesome yesterday. Joe Cole and Bentley made awesome assists and Rooney was always on the run.

Wes Brown nd Ashley Cole weren't good enough, I tought. I expected to see a less than decent performance from A. Cole.

In the second half we created many chances, penetrated more and our passing improved. There weren't long balls especially by Crouch, nd he made a good start when came in. Ferdinand also had a chance but he headed the ball up high.

As we saw, Switzerland are a very decent opposition to play against and to win for us must be really good.

It might be too early but I'm gonna say it..
This England has lots of potential.. We have no wasters now like Lampard nd Robinson.
We have a composure of young players like Bentley nd Berry with the likes of Ferdinand, David James and Owen.

Under Capello our side will show some fine football..

I think 'awesome' maybe an overstatement, the performance was a foundation on developing a team. Fabio capello would inject a professionalism with continental style of football mix with the British Bulldog which will produce results. It may not be sexy, but it will be smart and effective. If Capello continues to select the England team based on current form then England will have a VERY bright future.[/quote]

It IS an awesome performance. Remember that everyone including the coach was under pressure and its not always easy to perform well when under pressure. But they did very well - they were in a difficult position and the win is nothing but awesome.

When we didn't qualify it was a test for ALL England fans.. Some just went to boo their team. Others keep on believing in this team. It doesn't mean that to believe you have to agree with all the decisions made. Mc Laren was one decision that I didn't agree with but I never went on to boo him. I had to respect him.

Yea.. big, shiny, famous, rich England didn't qualify. But we are still humans are are entitled to everything. We are NO gods or superstars.

My oh my, I never tought it was that simple to beat Arsenal :o

Teamwork, composure, possesion.. We had everything planned and it worked PERFECT.
What satisfied me the most is how we handled Arsenal from not scoring. I still can't believe how this side lost against City nd West Ham.
Some magical stuff by everyone.

But I have to say that for me Fletcher was the man of the match.
How could this man score against such a big side? He could because he is not bad at all, he is only underrated. Not only his commitment to United is superb but today he gave an answer to those who underrate this special man. And he is truly special, and he made me feel proud to support the team, this man's part of :) I know that Rooney may have played slightly a little bit better than Fletcher but we all know what Rooney's capable of.. But only some know what Fletcher is capable of.

Everyone gave his part. Arsenal were like drunk men running on the pitch.

Some of you are saying that with Ronaldo we could have scored more but I don't think so.
Tell me if I'm wrong, but if Ronaldo had played, Fletcher wouldn't. And Fletcher's 2 goals would be nowhere.

And for that Johnny let me tell him that that we are not judging Fletcher on 1 game but on his loyalty throughout the years. But this time he got to his peak and I have no problems saying how good he is.

I'd rather have Fletcher in my team than Van Nistelrooy. VNS may have scored more, may have contributed more but when he needed to prove that he is better than Saha he left us. Fletcher always works harder and harder, he loves Utd and we love him too, as much as we love Roo and Ron.

Great job Fletch and keep giving these idiots answers!

Not a bad result considering we were playing away from home. Our advantage goal gave us a big boost for the next home tie. Better than a 1-0 defeat.

Nani and Tevez should always start in any match. We saw how yesterday the team changed when those 2 came in.

We will advance considering that now we are gonna play at home and that is a big advantage.

Watch out Arsenal. Utd are coming to get you...

A 10/10 performance. Newcastle looked threatening and some of their attacks were scary. But our defence kept holding on, and conceding 1 goal from all of their attacks which is quite good.

It was all about Roo nd Ron .. Great goals all of them but Rooney's second goal was simply fabolous. Saha came in and scored, and I was also glad with his goal.. It was great teamwork between him and Rooney.

Carrick's passing was very good and some of Nani's crosses were breathtaken.
Vida, Rio, Brown nd Evra formed a good backline, and today's attack was simply the best. The attack won us the match.

Not much to say, other than Arsenal should really watch out.. Slipping the title out of their hands is something Arsenal are used to ;]

But also want to say GWS to Eduardo.. He may not be playing for the team I support but long term injuries are good for nobody.

It wasn't a perfect performance but it was enough to stop them from scoring and created a couple of chances too. We worked as a team and altough we should have scored more, I am still satisfied with the team performance. To score 3 against Liverpool is not something of everyday.

It was a perfect weekend for all United fans, with the defeat of Arsenal. The same old rivals are coming back again: Chelsea.

Brown.. It was all against the bookmakers to score, but he did open the result for us, his first goal this season. He may have done nothing special to score but he was at the right place in the right time. And it was also a spot on assist from Rooney.

Ronaldo wasn't invisible today. He surely should have scored more, but anyways .. His goal was a good header with good vision.

Nani's goal.. Oh god, oh god this lad leaves me without breath when I watch him playing. He is fantastic. All goals he scored were quality and today's wasn't less eighter. Great applause to this lad. Came on in the second half and made a mark immediately.

Rooney may not have scored but he assisted 2 of the goals and was the biggest threat to the Liverpool's defence.

Oh.. and shall I say something about Macherano's sent off? He is such an arrogant man. I couldn't believe it. He kept on ******* the referee. He did deserve the red card. Always laughing and ******** around.. Who does he think he is? It isn't an issue if he was talking to referee calmly. From the TV I saw him say 'fck you' like 2 times. He was sent off and he deserved it.

And what was all that talk before the match about how Torres will disturb our defence? He was nearly invisible man. And Gerrard WAS invisible! At times I forgot he was even there!

Anyways..

3 more precious points in..
What more can I say eighter that I hope we'll continue with this form?
