Virtual Addiction, Part 1

I am most definitely a Virtual World Addict. I have avatars in about 15 virtual worlds. And I just signed up for another! If ever these worlds begin to cross visit I'm going to have some serious personality issues to deal with! {:o) I saw a guy yesterday and thought "I'd like to have a copy of his shirt". I then realized I was in real life at the time.

Re: Competition: win an ‘Avatar Dog’ t-shirt

My favorite virtual world website is http://www.virtualworldsnews.com/. I spend the most time in Second Life. My country of residence is the United States. Thanks for running another contest. Good luck to everyone!

Re: Truth in action

Hey Torley! That poster is beautiful. I have so enjoyed following your adventures today. You need to have more days off and be an official tour guide. Take care. {:o)

Re: [OLB] How to report bugs better

Hey Torley! I just submitted my first JIRA. Not for a bug though. Instead I am proposing a "No Naked Nubies" type of fix so that there is a blue screen option between selecting "Remove all clothes" and actually being rendered naked. Spending time in the Public Orientation & Public Help Islands has shown me that too many just don't take that option literally. Not a high priority but would surely save on some traumatic moments for newbies.

Re: Torley reads page 9 of DUNE

Bravo Torley! Well done. It has been so long since seeing the movie (and much longer reading the book) I had forgotten just how well written they are. Thank you for bringing it back alive for me. Continue reading on please {:o)

Re: [OLB] Living in paintings

Amazing! I had seen something about this earlier but it had passed off the feeds before I could look at it. Thank you for putting it back out there. Yet another thing that can be done in Second Life. Very cool indeed! {:o)

Re: Social Marketing Thoughts from Internet Retailer 2008

How sad that you think Second Life is only about having sex. Apparently you have not been in there yourself or you would know different. Just like in real life there is the "less desirable" aspects but there are also Museums, concerts, builds that defy imagination and reality, etc. Businesses conduct meetings in there every day. I suggest you run Google News search and see whats going on inside Second Life. Before slamming something perhaps you should first check it out. Look me up inworld. I would be happy to give you a tour.
