Good for you Sommer! I tagged Eco-Office Gals "Growing small business green" I would probably not make the mark for many, many hard core "greenies", but I'm growing and sharing what I learn. I think that's what life is about. My mom always said "the day you stop learning if the day you die"...
So, if that's the case; all the hard core, know it all's out there judging those that are learning and sharing... your knowledge is dying, you're not sharing, your not seeking knowledge... you're stiffing yourself, your hurting and discouraging others. Anyone that chooses to be that way must wither away (intellectually, I'm nit proposing physical death for sure!) :)

Wow! I don't consider myself a "mom blogger" I blog for my business and I am a mom, so that's were the connection lies. My husband seethes about my time online. He deals with it because he's in construction and business is so bad for him right now. He's tolerating the hand (computer) that feeds him, I guess. What would I do otherwise? Yes, probably spend more time with family. I think right now the stress of the economy is what drives me online 14 hours a day, every visit to my blog or follow on Twitter has the potential to become a client (as you will know LOL), a connection, a meal on the table.
It really hit a nerve (not a bad one) to read this post as well as psychmama, cause it made me realize I'm not a freak, I'm not the only one struggling to find time for family while the pages load. Thanks!

When I saw the news this morning about McCain it was an absolute "Here's your sign" moment. UGH!I can't say I'm sold on Obama, but it's a no brainer over McCain. I liked Edwards, but I can't help but feel disappointment right now. This isn't a Clinton moment, the wife has cancer, that's a low blow.
Oh well... just my 2 cents...

Great defense post, but sad you had to write it! Come on people! Did you hate your shopping experience at Kmart?? Did you threaten to beat your children if they didn't smile for the camera? Did you purchase fur, meat and leather with the $500 then sneak off to a PETA protest? If you answer yes to either of the above then I question your creditability in your post! Otherwise regardless of the money being a sweet perk, how was your content biased? If you had something against Kmart and it went against your morals to shop their, but you did it anyway and gave a shining review... then YES I just think it's sad that people would call sell out, you work hard, you were presented with an awesome opportunity, you journaled it, you gave to charity... and I'll be winning a $500 gift card of my own out of it (WINK)... you disgust me! ;)

I do a Flaunt It! Monday series at http://eco-officegals.com where I do review/giveaway posts on green small businesses. I love trying the great green products, showcasing companies growing green and giving my readers the opportunity to win a green product they may not normally know exists. I haven't come across anything I hated or really even disliked, yet but I try to be honest and candid about the products I review and so far I have gotten nothing but compliments for them.

I recently became a Watkins rep because I love the products; look and scents and performance. The old timely look of the bottles is really classic and you can buy concentrated refills and keep the original bottle.
