surprised to know there's only 1 malaysian nominated. and yes, there are many entrepreneurs out there from malaysia. i think we can make it, once we go beyond our nation's market :)

for patrick, his companies are interesting. yes, heard of the catcha... and do read some of the mags by his co, which i think goes beyond malaysia - hence the recognition :)

the restaurant is huge in singapore. and i tried the original one in taiwan. awesome. it was the first time me eating such dumplings :)

ive been seeing a fair bit of asians trying to break into the usa music scene. i guess its very new. just like how the asians are into hollywood movies. its not the best now even, but it has improved leaps!

just to flip it, the same thing about hollywood movies - wanting to enter the huge china market & even the korean market (with the lifting of the quota).

so far, hollywood has emerged winner in its music going into all over asia, whether or not the natives understand 'engrish'.

and sad to say, the same thing cant be said for asia-to hollywood... for the obstacle about asia to hollywood is the language barrier. this is a period they will try. if they succeed good (i think they will, but years years later).

just my 2 cents worth.

its the local burgers.. a brandname. check out the road stalls that sells burgers :)

and yes, we do have pork though its not openly sold in all supermarkets. but we can buy them in the pork section in the wet markets & some supermarkets.

hey what a nice view on the country. including the prosperity burger haha.

oh btw, malaysians do love kfc as well. in fact, it always seem more crowded.

and while u are here, do try out the local ramly burger! :)

i wonder how google does this page rank thing also. i guess we just have to persevere? :)

I travel a bit to KL by bus as well and do use these 2 companies mentioned, though I think NICE bus has the best service despite the busses not as new :)

do they actually provide broadband in that bus? might wanna take that if they do :)
