This case arose out of a civil dispute over non-payment. Vinado contracted with Minecode to have services performed on their behalf. The work was duly delivered by Minecode, but was not paid for by Vinado. As a result, Minecode turned off the supplied code and property of Minecode. When Vinado subsequently installed a backup and continued to refuse payment, Minecode then deleted the code from the site.

For this, these businessmen were charged under the federal anti-hacking statute, which strikes me as a wildly disproportionate response to an essentially civil matter based on a refusal by Vinado to pay their bills, even after claiming satisfaction with the work.

Why the government felt the need to get involved with this private civil matter is a question all citizens should be asking, particularly at a time when this same government has declined spending any additional resources trying to find out who killed a Seattle federal prosecutor in 2001.

These game copy titles do not work! The software is a scam and is ripping off alot of people. Just google this software and the word scam. You'll see what I'm talking about. Good luck folks.

As an x employee Peter is the last person who should remain. Sue is the only hope. If T-Mobile did not mess up her hire things would much better. Instead they brough in the verizon marketing guy who did not watch the backend operations. Pay me now or pay me later.

Hi. I like creating websites in my Mom's basement criticizing a program he is a 'fan' of. In between his time he drives to the local McDonald's and the CVS down the street to eat his dinner and Kleenex for his 'entertainment' on the computer on the weekends.

Oh during the week he's the guy on sidewalks wearing a Halloween costume holding a sign saying 'try our pizza' as an imitation profession.

Get a freakin' life
