in Ok, Obama Did His Press Conference. Let’s Call Up Catholics, Clinton and McCain on Jack and Jill Politics
I'm so tired of people using this to say we should question Obama's judgment because he didn't know Rev. Wright as well as he thought. Well using that logic, Hillary is definitely not POTUS material. HELLO, she entered into a legally binding contract with a liar and a cheat. She knew he was going to cheat on her and she did it anyway. She knew she was going to have to lie to the public and say she supports NAFTA when she really didn't. I mean, her judgment is right on point to say the least, right? This train of thought explains why the divorce rate in this country is so low, because we know everything there is to know about people and people never change. I'm so glad I had my Pastor fill out that questionnaire before I joined his church. And thanks to the media, I've had to reject and denounce my own mother because she admitted she wasn't a virgin when she got married and she's smoked weed. (NOT!) Just goes to show that you can't trust people today. Tsk Tsk, and I thought I knew her. Silly me for thinking I knew her every thought.
Just stop with the madness. If Obama was just pandering for votes, I would think he would have done this at the beginning of his campaign, not at the end. Use some logic. But then again, if you think Hillary or McCain would be better for this country, then I don't know how much logic enters into your thinking

How can Obama make his mark when they keep asking him about BS. Every debate we have to go through the nonesense that the media wants to keep alive. By the time they get to the real issues, people have turned off the tv. I know I did. I just couldn't take it anymore.

Um, unless I failed math, this poll would suggest around 75% would vote for him. I think we'll be okay pollsters. Geez, this is basic statistics Gallup Poll people. But I guess it's true, people will read the numbers the way we want to.

I was so moved when I heard Obama's speech. I felt like we were really going to have a positive discussion on race....And then I turned on the TV. WTF! I can't believe I watched the same speech as some of these guys. Of all that was said, people came away with "He threw his grandmother under the bus". These people really can't see the forest for the trees.
I don't understand the people saying he should have left the church or made his objections known. How do we know he didn't make them known? That's a pretty big church. Should he have jumped up and ran down the aisle. How do we know he didn't have an offline conversation with him? I know that I've disagreed with my Pastor before and we've just agreed to disagree on things. I didn't leave the church because I wasn't there for HIM, I was there to praise GOD. If you go to church to only hear the preacher say things that you will like, then you'll never grow. How many Catholics left the church after supporting child molesters?
Any why are so many people shocked that social/political issues are discussed in the black church. White politicians have known this for years. That’s why every election season they tramp up in the pulpit and clap offbeat and rock the wrong way (including the Clinton’s). At least one good thing came out of this though; we can put the Muslim rumors to rest.
