in What’s the best concert you ever attended? on Carrie and Danielle
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, at the Beacon on Broadway in NYC, a few years before he died. People were dancing in the aisles and throwing twenty and fifty dollar bills onto the stage as the master took us higher and higher. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Full of ecstatic bliss. I'm so grateful I was able to share time and space with such a powerful force. Thanks for reminding me, C and D.

Good gracious. Let's see:

1. Move toward completion on my new website, which means MAKING A DECISION AND LIVING WITH IT.
2. Write up consultation notes for two of the most beautiful and haunting manuscrips I've ever been privileged to help bring into the world
3. Buy the medium format camera I've always wanted--to remember these precious years in Hawaii. Today as my son talked to his favorite plumeria tree in the middle of a rainstorm, I realized digital just won't do it.

Oooh--is this a trick question? I'd like the BLUE DOT strut table in blue, the OXO lamp in white and that gorge wooden digital clock designed by Takumi...I have the address for delivery right here....no but really, for me it's all about beauty and proportion, color and lighting, and really great gear. xo
