No. The reason why they don't ask you about your company is because of the code. They assume the code's not public and is only used by people qualified to use it. I know this kind of company discounts and there's always some kind of contract or paper about them stating that it's not allowed to use the code if you're not qualified too and that it's also not allowed to disclose the code (it's a company internal just like sales numbers or profit).
The contract doesn't matter, it is still fraud. You're getting a cheaper contract and a bonus because you are doing as if you were someone else (=someone allowed to use the code). Just ask your lawyer ;)

Jan I called the number used the code and then told them I was a friend of someone who used to work there. The girl didn't care and proceeded! They don't care! They just want the activation!

Jan call the number and see. They do not ask you any questions about where you work or employee #. That code is all they need. It isn't fraud since you are still getting a year contract and not ripping them off.
