Yeah, the skins would definitely have a good advantage at home versus playing the Bucs on the road tommorow, and in the end all you can do is speculate about how things would have turned out, but I think the Skins will be better off against the Bucs than against the Panthers.

Have any predictions for the Saturday games?

Game I- Pittsburgh destroys them.
Game II- Cincy barley pulls off a seven point win against a quarterback with a bad thumb.
Game III- A 13 points win? I don't think so.

Pittsburgh lacking in the run department?

They have Willie Parker with 4.3 speed who has over 1000 yards this season, Jerome Bettis in short, and Duce Staley when they need him.

They are number five in the league in rushing yards/game (Bengals are 11th), Ben Roethlisberger has the third highest passer rating in the league (a tiny bit below Manning and Palmer) which isn't so bad, and their total offensive touchdowns are only a few below the Bengals. Sure, the Bengals put up 38 points on them, but that was rare, and you have to remember the Steelers put up 31 points. Earlier in the season the Steelers put up 27 points against the Bengals.

As for the defense, the Steelers have one of the best in the NFL, and the Bengals defense sucks, though they get a bunch of takeaways. Considering that most of their takeaways were against NFC North quarterbacks, and considering their number of takeaways has gone down through the last few weeks, I wouldn't expect them to suddenly bounce back against Pittsburgh.

Alrighty:

1. Willie Parker has fewer yards than you'd like because he shares the carries with several other backs.
2. He has fewer carries than any other thousand-yard running back in the league. That should tell you something.
3. While we're onto this December thing-

Carson Palmer's rating over the December and January games: 101.5, 53.5, 95.5, 86.1, 82.3. Roethlisberger's- 94.2, 109, 99, 120, 34.1. Take out Palmer's lowest and Roethlisberger's lowest, and look who's playing better.

The Bengals have averaged 26.4 points a game, and allowed 28.4 points a game. The Steelers have averaged 29.2 points a game, and allowed 14.2 points a game.

I'm with Aaron. Unless there's an injury or something freaky, there's no way they don't win SB XL. The Pats will probably lose to the Broncos (bad run defense vs. amazing run offense=unsightly loss) and the Colts will destroy the Steelers (and I am a die-hard Stiller fan) I hate to say it, but that MNF game was no fluke

About 99% of experts had the Colts winning. The Colts are the better team by far (this comes from an obsessed Steeler fan), they just didn't play like themselves on Sunday, and the Steelers had their best game of the year. It happens. It doesn't mean I suck (though it also doesn't mean I don't suck. I could be convinced)

that's a very good point. But what about the atheist that are religious in everything but name? They give to charity, they adopt kids, they help out in the community, they're generous, etc.

How can you not believe in a God, yet live your life like you have some higher purpose?

that's a very good, and, I think, valid point.

A made-up, but I think common, situtation I can think of is, say, a pastor's kid. They are brought up their whole life told God loves you, you have to act like this, etc.

When they are ten/twelve/fifteen/whatever, they find out their dad had an affair or something like that, and their whole word comes crashing down. They get bitter, get mad at god, and presto, an angry atheist out to get people

Certainly not everyone, but I hear alot about people that are pushed away from religion because of the hypocrisy and double-standards they see. The vast majority of religious people aren't highly immoral, but the few that are ruin it for many

I was envious of the people of faith. THEY had something to lean on during hard times. THEY had something to look forward to when they die. THEY had this â€œmysticalâ€ optimism that things will be alright in the end because it was God/s plan. All I had was myself and my existentialist books.

This is, after all, still fairly early beta, but they still have a lot of improvements to get to

I'm betting they'll release a version soon with a bunch of problems, and then a few months later they'll release one with a bunch of upgrades. just a guess, but it's how Microsoft does things

A twenty-one point seattle win?

Against a team that has easily beaten the Bengals, Broncos, and Colts in consecutive weeks.

How are they going to score 21 points against a defense that gives up 100 yards rushing about once every 20 games, and a pass defense that has shut down Rod Smith, Ashley Lelie, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Chad Johnson, and Houshmanzadeh in consecutive weeks?

And how do they hold a quarterback who has a rating of over 100 in the playoffs, along with one of the top rushing games in the league to 14 points?

One of the things that hasn’t seen much reporting is what happened to the flight attendants. We know about the passengers and pilots. But what about the Flight Attendants? Was their “story” told in the movie?

Actually, I would say it was. About a third of the plane scenes were the terrorists, a third were the passengers, and a third were the crew

The only thing about United 93 is “Can I see it?” 9/11 is still fairly raw for me, and I haven’t flown on a plane since then.

I've flown on several planes since 9/11...it was a little creepy the first time, but I didn't find it a huge deal, though I can definitely understand why someone would want to avoid flying. As for it still being raw, I think that's probably true for a lot of people. I still find it haunting every time I see a video clip or picture of one of the planes flying into the buildings. I think I'd still recommend seeing it

The families of the victems, for one, and the half of America that loved Fahrenheit 9/11 so much. If they didn't find it too soon after 9/11 for a fictional "documentary" on it, then surely they didn't find it too soon for such a good film.

Quite a bit, actually, unless you've read the 9/11 Comission, and just about every other bit of evidence from that day. I learned a lot

apart from to make some filmmakers cash - unless that’s being donated to some worthy casue? I doubt it

Actually, a significant portion of the income is being given, I believe, to a 9/11 memorial or something like that. They aren't pocketing all of it

The Falcons making the playoffs is a joke. Michael Vick has mastered the second half slide, and they'll likely finish the season 8-8, maybe 9-7. 7-9 is more likely.

Ravens ought to win the AFC North easily, but I don't see them getting past the divisionls in the postseason. The AFC Super Bowl rep will be Indy or San Diego. No other team scares me.

The Broncos are too used to winning by the least amount they have to, and their defense suddenly isn't historically good, but average. The Patriots lost all magic they ever had, the Ravens gave up 26 quick points to a terrible team.

In the NFC it'll be Chicago, New York, or New Orleans. Chicago is capable of beating anyone, including themselves. They can play and beat anyone on a good day, but they lucked out against Arizona and got blown out by Miami. I don't see them escaping two straight playoff games. New York is missing too many key guys, and Eli Manning's innacuracy is going to come back to bite them at some point in the postseason. That leaves New Orleans.

I'll take Colts over Saints in the Super Bowl, but that could easily be Saints vs. Chargers, and I have no idea who's win that one.

Good luck with that. This whole template is based off of images. The top part is one image, and the whole middle of it is a repeating image. It's also designed at a fixed width of 870 pixels (I think)...in short, those two things are the entire template.
