Thank you. It was interesting at first, mostly for the novelty. Then it began to eat my brain, especially since others joined in, and about 10-15% of my friendslist became Twitter digests. This became especially painful after I actually got a Twitter account and was seeing the same thing in two places. DO NOT WANT.

From my point of view, if I want to follow someone on Twitter, I will follow them on Twitter. I understand, though, that some people want some of that info without signing up for a new account. Perhaps keep with the digests, but post them under an explicitly opt-in filter? Or perhaps set them up as a separate feed for people to add to their friendslist?

I do think it's an interesting concept, and the social dynamics around it are interesting to think and talk abooooot.

I didn't realize how depressed and turtled-up I'd been with my old job until I no longer had it, so the last month for me has included a lot of introspection, some change, and a nice thawing. There's more, but its probably worth its own post at some point in the near future.
