Watching a premiership match on Setanta is so much better with live pre-game, half, and post-game footage from the site of the match. You get a much better feel for the atmosphere of the match and much better analysis. Not to mention the low quality of Fox's production. Consistently wrong line-up displays, Ugly graphics, and horrible pronunciations. Highberry anyone?

Re: ITVN Adds GolTV: Wise Decision or Not?

No.. many regions don't get GolTV.

I'm ecstatic.

Re: Next U.S. TV Contract for Premiership: "$20 Million"

Nice comment.

Not surprising, but interesting.

Re: Your Guide to Premiership TV Commentators | EPL Talk

Great post.

Motson works for BBC, so you can only hear him on FA Cup matches and abbreviated match coverage on Match of the Day.

Re: The Time Has Come For Beckham To Join L.A.

What's most amazing to me is his weekly wage of £495k a week!

What's the highest weekly wage in the premiership right now? Maybe Ballack at £160k?

Sure, Beckham's marketing worth may be invaluable, but in sheer footballing value I can't see how he's worth more than £70k a week. So that leaves £425k a week for his poster boyness. Lunacy.

Re: Arsenal and Liverpool Gives Premiership A Much Needed Shot in the Arm

thank you for posting my mind.

Re: Wish-list for Setanta Sports

"These games are available in HD in the UK, why not here?"

The day a satellite or cable TV provider in the US dedicates limited and expensive HD bandwidth to a channel that relatively no one watches is a long long long long long way off.

Regarding the main post, Setanta really needs to get on cable. Loved it and it's great stories, yet was left completely perplexed with it's failed attempts at grander meaning.

Good review.
