SPA That's exactly right, Frank. Velvel is a foolish no-name administrator of a no-name law school that serves it's students very poorly. When students and teachers rise up and demand better, perhaps the trustees will listen. Until then academic freedom and free speech rights will continue to protect such incompetence, and you will have to continue to live with an unaccredited JD. Very sad.

And this guy thinks GWB should be tried for war crimes? Perhaps Velvel should first take care of his own nonfeasance vis-a-vis his law school before he takes on Article II Section 2 and the War Powers Act. What a clownish stunt.

bglewandowski Not really the point I was making but if you want to interpret it that way fine... read it again and don't pay attention to the headline...the Paper added it. I was more speaking to the fact that the odds were stacked against the Yes voters just because of community dynamics. The Yes folks did nothing but preach to their own which really wasn't an effective campaign... the No voters sent their message loud and clear and hopefully were not represented by the buffoons at the CFFR. They really could have hurt the No vote had the Yes vote even had a remote chance. It didn't and the results are what they are. This was more a commentary on how two campaigns were run inefficiently than a reflection of what the voters represent.

Norbert_Wigglebottom Just remember that the real winners were the folks who didn't even bother to vote... 15,000 of them... a 3:2:1 margin... or are they the losers?
