I agree comments are nice but not necessary. Its great to get direct feedback from your readers but barring that review your blog stats. You can usually figure out what is working from there.

Blogs aren't the most interactive of media and if you are looking exclusively for interaction you may want to give twitter a try rather than blogging.

in How to Help Great Productivity Blogs Get Discovered on The Cranking Widgets Blog
As a blogger I frequently cover GTD and management topices among others that are of interest to me. I get bored with the productivity p0rn so I can't just be a "smut smuggler."

in 9 Tricks for Getting a Table (and Being a VIP) at Hot Restaurants on The Blog of Author Tim Ferriss
If you want to be treated as a VIP in the evening make your favorite a regular lunch stop. They are usually less formal and you may have an opportunity to get to know the management.

I was able to get into a favorite restaurant on Valentines Day without reservations because I am a regular...it was a nice to get an unplanned meal out with my wife. The owner just pulled me into the first available table.

in The Freelancer’s Guide to Setting Perfect Deadlines on LifeDev
Good hints but I disagree with seperating project calendars from your personal. I recommend keeping one calendar for all scheduled tasks. By keeping personal and work items on one calendar you have an opertunity to plan all your time and be assured that you are keeping all your commitments.

I would not be happy in social situations if I didn't have the assuarnce that I had reviewed my work calendar first.
