I have to agree with Mike, I have never heard of it before. But if it is something that builds trust especially with the aging generation (which could be a big part of your customers - older people larning pc skills) then I'd say it is definately worth it.

It depends on your goals... If you are going for credibility and respect and make your money by affiliate reviews, or creating your own products I dont think that a having a big rss and low traffic is a bad thing. But if you money is made off your adds it definately is a bit scary.

One thing I love to do is open my copy of Micro Niche Finder, input a couple of different keywords relevant to my blogs niche, and then see what phrases people are searching for.

This usually gives me some great topics to write on, and the best thing is that I can target the ones that will get me some good SEO traffic :grin:

When you first started what were your ambitions?
My goals were to create a blog that gained me influence in my niche allowing me to blog full-time

Have you succeeded with these yet? If so, how did you manage to? If not, why not?
I am well on my way. I am really starting to see results from my first 8months of blogging and I really believe that this next 12 months is going to be huge for my blog.

What else can you tell us about yourself?
I am 23 years old and live in QLD, Australia. I am currently working full-time online doing freelance design and getting my blog up and running.

Aside from the internet my passions are songwriting and music.

One of the problems I always thought about starting entrepreneurialism young was the fact the I looked even younger, when I was 16 I looked 14, and no-one would take me seriously.

I would prefer a nice blend. Your blog focuses on success and you seem to have further focused on interviews - which I think has worked really well for you! I definately think that you should keep your posts to the topic but just let your personality shine through the posts.

I cut a lot of my placement out, and now only have 1-2units max on my websites. This has increased CPC and the best placement i have found is insert it into my post just below the title with the content wrapped around it.

I use and recommend HostGator. They have been fanastic for me, and they run Fantastico which means 3 (or so) click install of wordpress. I have a reseller account for $24.95 a month, which is pretty good too.

thats the good thing about having a domain that isnt your name. No one would want to buy thomassinfield.com (not that im selling) but if you were building a blog as a business having a brandable domain is a must.
