I do NOT blog at work - I have an ethical issue with surfing the web on company time - almost as if it is borderline employee theft...I know, a possible weird stance. I'm sure that does not apply to all people, but in my line of work, I don't feel comfortable doing it.

I have noticed that weekends are slower in stat land, which is why I have "Lazy Sundays" - similar to Brody's "Stacks Suck Sunday" - which I do participate in.

I'm having a hard time being really creative right now with the early arrival of my son on our last day of vacation last week. However, I didn't realize it until AFTER Asher was born how useful Twitter and Blogging were at pushing out all the news to family and friends. Since we are away from home, we are using the blog as a message posting center to include in his baby book so he can see how many people were thinking of him before they ever met him.

He is doing well, but struggling with all the things that come with being 2 months early.

a few things you need to check out:

1: CallMe app - gives you "speed dial" access right on your dock, and uses the assigned photo associated with that contact entry. I've got a whole page set with speed dial or quick dial access..

2: Express app - I had this on my Treo and am thrilled it is on the iPhone. Awesome app for news and weather.

3: Moviefone website - not an app, but a good website to have bookmarked when deciding, last minute, to go catch a movie. Even gives you trailer access...

4: Cycorder - video recorder

5: Flixwagon - LIVE video streaming from your iPhone
