Using technology for security at ticketed events is a trend that I believe we will continue to see more of. I think the major players will eventually switch over to a system that links the tickets to a credit card as opposed to issuing a paper ticket that can be sold and given away. The card would then be swiped at the gate in a similar fashion to what the airline industry does. Even small venues are interested in ticket printing security although they can easily get by with less sophisticated techniques for raffle tickets and general admission ticket events.
Sorry to hear about your loss. Just as a warning, the weather is calling for snow in South West Montana Saturday night, something like 15 inches in the mountains, so drive safe.
Thanks again for taking the time to talk to us here at Tech Ranch. Your insights on marketing, user interfaces and blogs were very helpful. We will definately look into starting a blog for www.TicketPrinting.com. I hope that you enjoy the rest of your trip here in Montana.
