We see a similar situation regarding Martin Luther King, though everyone seems to know he existed. Just about every MLK day, I see a mike-in-the-face interview on local TV where some child responds that he "freed the slaves."
Kevin, your snark comparing citizen response to crime with citizen response to fires makes sense to me, though I favor both (the citizen response, not the fires and the crimes) and you apparently don't. Too bad the bill of rights doesn't protect the right to keep and bear fire-fighting equipment.
SwabJockey05 You're correct. To the lefty simpletons who post on this sight, the only "rights" you have are those explicitly spelled out in the Constitution...except for Abortion, which SHOULD have been spelled out ....but wasn't... or the right to bear arms --which was spelled out...but shouldn't have been...or what they wrote wasn't what they really meant when they wrote the 2nd Amendment.
To discuss it with the lefty is a waste of time. To the lefty simpletons, consistency itself is a sign of a simple mind.
