This causes people to just get jaded over time.

I recall one guy in school who played chess with himself, and has never gone to a local shopping mall - trapped in his dungeon, his elitist parents has shaped him into a soulless robot. I think compassion to him was a theory even. Anyway, this guy although the most studious, never got the top spot. The top spot year after year went to a radical, outspoken, confident, funny, witty guy that hardly studies at all.

People need to be spunky, and be self free in order to battle the harsh hard times of life. I agree with your 'rant', and I don't think it's something you should ever regret. G'luck in the states.

Re: Pulau Perhentian And The Bunch Of Us

ROFL! #6 and #12 are winning pictures! :D

Re: How Barisan National Cheats Their Way To Victory

@PinkPau Vote you as PM? When you vote you're required to produce your identity card before you're given a ballot paper. This ballot paper has a serial number tied to your ID number.

Re: Come On, Young Malaysians

Malaysia is severely lacking in patriotism, the natural response are that "i can't make a difference", or "Migrate as there isn't a future here", or they are oblivious to everything around. Our fundamental problem lies in our education system. Indeed, Asia's education policies are to breed conformist citizens, one that will be an obedient consumer to the economy. Even working class drones.

It isn't right that Malaysia doesn't have a strong enough filibuster. It also isn't right that political parties are by race advocates, it should be united.

This coming election is really cutting close to the impending decline of Malaysia's economy in the globalised world, one that is close to peak oil.

Our next election would be 2012, and that may indeed be too late for change. We owe this change to our children, and with a worsening economy: having children is an even greater challenge. This calls for extreme measures to change things.

I'm a libertarian, and I will quote Voltaire to Malaysians that don't speak up: "I may disagree with what you say, but I will fight to the death your right to say it".

Re: Pinkpau Sleeps Better With Chipster

Was wondering why'd you say the pink PJ was comfy, then I saw the picture of you holding a chipster bag with Martian's pic.
