Hey Jake, I have not used this product. This wasn't actually intended to be a product review, just a short news item about a new product I saw online that I thought would be cool to throw up here in case anyone is interested in checking it out. Personally, I think something like this could be really useful, especially if you spend time on the beach or a boat.

As far as the headline, it was just a play on the "ice" name of the product, not an actual declaration that this is hands-down the best summertime product. :-)

I'm interested in finding out about the sound quality too. While I don't have the money to go out and buy this right away, I'd like to hear from anyone who does have it to see what their impressions are.

I think there should be a picture of you in an awkward pose. An "action" photo of you doing yoga would have been perfect to accompany your written work.

It was on the news that Barack now says he'll go to Iraq & Afghanistan before the election if he has time. I was silently worrying about his safety when my twenty-year-old son said, "That's where they'll do it". Is it really inevitable? If all else fails I just hope he makes Gore the VP nominee.

I'm sorry about Russert, but when Brokaw broke in to the regular programing with "some very sad news" I assumed it was Barack. That horrible feeling of one's blood running cold. I was sobbing before I realized it wasn't him.

Lordy Anonymous, I didn't endorse it. I'd not seen anything similar, but maybe that's because I'm not New Agey myself. The Kool-aid drinkers don't diminish Obama or the majority of his supporters. The really interesting bit (I thought) was that it was written, in spite of himself, by one of the San Francisco Chronicle's regular columnists, the highly jaded (until now anyway)& funny curmudgeon Mark Morford. He warned you not to read it! Repeatedly. Too "gooey".


And actually, I really don't care why any particular individual supports Obama. A vote's a vote.

And let's see, HRC won't concede, endorse or release her delegates because she thinks she can force Barack to declare her his co-presidential nominee? I can't think of anything bad enough to say about her.

The first time the race-baiting really hit me was before the South Carolina vote. Hillary said that Barack was "a young African-American man with so much to contribute". Innocuous on it's face but she sounded like she was referring to the neighbor boy. I went from calm to boil in less than a second & have never really gotten over it.

Wasn't Eight Belles that that poor Kentucky Derby horse that came in second to Big Brown? She couldn't get up so they shot her on the track.
