Hello, my name is Jose and I have the same problem with my car. Here are some info. about my car: color white, 2,000 year old, Honda Odyssey, 93,000 miles. My car has been having strange sounds and other type of problems lately. So I took it to MANY local auto repairs to take a look at it but only one of them could tell me the answer and they said, "It's you're transmission, so we can fix it for you but you have to pay $2,500". Well I didnt want to pay that much because that was too expensive. So now my car is just sitting there doing nothing and I am not secure with my car at all. Yep, I do fully agree with Vitor. Many times, when people say how bad is the phone customer service of any company I use to say that 'according to their wage... well... enough to say if they pick up the phone'... while they stare at me... Anyway, have you realized how many rants by second raise an spanish... bad customer service... and for instance, bad service in bars and/or restaurants... Or a topic raised in the blog of Manuel Camblor (La Otra Botella). When a bottle of wine is tainted with TCA, what's the behaviour of a spanish customer and of a USA customer? and the behaviour of the shop or restaurant in both sides of the sea?

In addition to this appeared the usual news mangling. Depending on TV-Channel and/or newspaper you were able to see that markets were normal and full... or empty. That everything was quiet and under control.... or trucks on fire... Grrrr.... the usual mangling without a real news coverage.

maybe a glance on spanish history of last 50 years can help to understand the odd behaviour you mention. Thirty & fourty something people inherited the fear of their parents. Our parents raised and/or born during Civil War. That time they'd a lack of everything, including food (yeeep, my parents as well). Therefore one of their biggest fears remain and appear again in these kind of situations. Despite people who born during baby-boom never lived this kind of lackness, they've inherited this kind of 'fear'... Joining this to the 'stupid-mass-behaviour' is easier to understand the last days market fever...

Bueno, bueno, bueno... no conocía éste sitio pero la carta de presentación ha sido impresionante. Soy un joven emprendedor, pobre como una rata pero con la ilusión intacta y eso que llevo ya 5 años batallando. And well, I've seen this tapa with this name in Madrid and provinces around (Segovia, Toledo, I don't remember if Soria & Burgos as well) and also in Sevilla. I wouldn't bet my hand on the name of this tapa in some other provinces, but I've seen in some other places, like Bilbao and Alicante.

have you tasted the 'tapa' called 'matrimonio' (marriage)? If not, it's very easy and quite savory. It's made with one of this boquerones, with that traditional anchovies you mention (salty and oily ;) over a fried potato. The fried potato use to be one of those industrial label, but if you have enought time try to do a thin slice and fry at home. Great tapa IMHO.

El mal servicio de IKEA parece que es universal...
Mi pesadilla la tuve en IKEA de Berlin-Tempelhof. Sabía de la existencia en esa tienda de un servicio de alquiler de furgonetas para el transporte. Después de hacer una voluminosa compra me acerco confiado al mostrador correspondiente para alquilar una.
Allí una antipática empleada me dice que para alquilar una furgoneta necesito un certificado de empadronamiento o de residencia en Berlín. Le explico que no tengo certificado de residencia o de empadronamiento, no sé bien que es lo que quería, que soy español que no vivo habitualmente en Berlin y que lo único que quiero es alquilar una furgoneta durante dos horas para llevar los muebles a mi apartamento. La empleada no para de gesticular y mostrar su contrariedad por mi torpeza a la hora de expresarme en alemán. Insiste en que si no tengo certificado de residencia, o de empadronamiento -no llegué a saber qué era exactamente lo que quería- no me alquilaba la furgoneta. Después de esto se desentendió de mí dejándome allí con mi voluminosa compra de dos enormes carros. Logré abordarla otra vez a pesar de su displicencia y tras mucho insistir logré que me contratara un transporte urgente a través de una agencia que me costó 70 euros. Me lo pensaré mucho antes de volver a IKEA.
