It's long (30+ minutes). But I challenge all, especially Edwards supporters, to watch and listen. He is the new way forward for USA. I'm just afraid that with Clinton we will get the same old divisive politics. I'm afraid that it will be the Democratic version of Karl Rove politics. Yuck!

Re: hello Deutschland

you might try using babel fish to translate the web page.

Re: new me

Congratulation Beerdrinker. I'd love a report.

Re: PUD II

It's tough for me to believe anything coming out of the mouths of PGE, er, the Cititzens when it comes to this issue. Check out last Sunday's Big O for Columbia County's experiences in 1999 when they voted to switch to a PUD. And, remember PGE's vociferous campaign against the ballot measure in the early '90s that would have directed them to shut down Trojan. They turned around two months later and shut it down anyway but totally at the expense of the ratepayers.

Re: What the people want

Hmm, I suggest a bottle or two of the Anchor Christmas Ale or a big 22 oz of the Rogue Chocolate Stout.

Re: foiled again.

Have you tried the Jubel Ale from Germany? You can get a bottle at the Edelweiss Deli and I'm Belmont Station carries it. This year the jug-like bottle has xmas scenes painted on it.

Re: Yesterday was a Good Day

Is The Dunes a non-smoking establishment??? The big question for me (which keeps me away from the likes of Horse Brass): is it non-smoking?

Re: Anchor Bock Beer

I miss the bocks. Back in the early 90's there seemed to be more bocks out there. Does anyone remeber the wonderful Widmer Bock that would hit the taps of Portland in March?
