Maybe they could address the Ceti Alpha eel that's residing in Captain Pike's body. I don't remember seeing it slide out of an ear hole like it did with Chekov in Wrath of Khan.

Flip 3D has got to be one of the most useless "features" of Windows for a long time. I'd rather they spend the time making the OS stable and mostly bug-free than this bit of fluff.

Good tip. I've had a double-sized Taskbar for years with XP. My time and date settings are like this:

HH:mm:ss
dd.MMM.yyyy

So I get:

16:13
Wednesday
13.May.2009

Very entertaining, as you said. But I also agree the Kate stories are the least interesting (the actress herself is less than interesting, too).

The off-island adventures are fun, and there's a real sense of build-up to the Six returning to the island. I'm sure the reason will become clear later on (they are the island's "constant"?).

And how great was it to see Jin return? :)

Wow, I never thought I'd see a new Red Dwarf being made - even if it is just a special. I gave up on the series at Season 6; when Rob Grant left the show, the writing just got stupid and lazy.

And, yes, those 1998 remastered seasons are almost ruined.

Well when the shows are not shown locally (like they aren't here), I don't have access to every show I want to have a look at, so reviews do come in handy to determine if a show is worth adding to a download list. I'd given up on Heroes, but a couple of not-so-bad reviews made me grab the last couple of episodes to see how what it was like for myself. I often don't read the entire review immediately; just a star rating or something is enough to get a brief idea of the show's worth. LOL

I guess I'm sort of following Dexter in reviews only since I lost faith in the show, but still hope it recovers. I only wish showrunner Daniel Cerone hadn't left.

I hate to say it, but by the end of season 2 I'd had enough of Dexter. Don't get me wrong, I think the premise was great, Michael C. Hall is fantastic as Dex, and the writing was for the most part outstanding. But for me, the whole Rita and the Kids storyline really dragged the show down for me, and I rolled my eyes whenever scenes focussed on them. For that reason I wasn't interested in following Dexter into season 3 and seeing his Dark character neutered - and married with a baby! Don't shows quickly go downhill when a baby is brought in?

(Looking forward to your review of Heroes s3e13 Duel/Dual, BTW. I found it awful.)

Of course, they should have just left the first enjoyable Mummy picture as a standalone. Sequels might be okay if they actually bothered to put as much effort into the scripts as they do into the CGI-gasms that usually results from these cash-seeking movies.

All action and no brains? I shudder to think people actually look to the Beeb's latest Doctor Who for inspiration - that Children's BBC-style Who is just terrible.

I'll wait for the reviews before making any judgement on this, but Abrams doesn't shit gold bricks in my world, so this movie could go either way.

I believe this show has passed the point of no return (of any sort of quality); it's just too far gone, and the damage to whatever cred it had is done.

This season has been full of action and visuals and maybe that just helps it get by with hardcore fans, but that's because of the big budget this show gets. If NBC feels generous and gives this show a fourth season, there's definitely going to be less money to work with, and the writing team will have to really start putting out some quality storylines and scripts - and maybe actually kill off some characters for good to reduce the numbers.

Or you can just make your font size x-and-a-half: e.g. 11.5 instead of 12 (just type the value into the Font Size box).

To prevent those blank pages being printed out, just do a Print Preview and look for the blanks. If it's just a single page letter, go right down to the bottom of the page, to the end of the last paragraph, and press Delete to remove any extra empty lines which might spill over to a blank page.

I don't mind the results it brings up, just as long as when I Clear Private Data it does exactly that - but it doesn't. All my pr0n sites are there for all to see. Seriously. Where's the privacy?

(And I hate the new Bookmarks database.)
