My eyes are immediately drawn to the word METH rather than 'life'

Ostensibly the smoke is meth smoke? How would looking at meth smoke inspire one to not smoke meth except in a negative way?

I'd say we can give two forms of advice:

a) stop smoking meth
b) choose life

choosing life is a positive choice.

Looking at your site, the nice colours and design are far more inspirational than a black screen with the word METH so prominently displayed.

If I were designing a poster I'd focus more on the LIFE than the meth aspect.

Of course I don't know very much about meth addiction, so maybe these tactics work better, but to be honest I'd say positivity is far more powerful than negativity.
