nuTsie sounds very interesting. I think it's a great way to discover music even from your home area. Sometimes stumbling across a band you've never heard of in your home town is the even cooler. I'm going to check this out.

There has been no other band that has proved to me so much that music is truly universal like Sigur Ros. Even though I understand nothing of what they sing every time I hear Hoppipolla I get chills throughout my entire body. Takk was an absolute masterpiece from beginning to end. If you really enjoy there music you should check out their documentary Heima. Absolutely Incredible.

Definitely an interesting partnership. It seems to be a solid move into the online branding of UMG. Although I am quite hesitant about the sharing of content part of the equation. See what restrictions this comes with.

Thanks Nav. It seems that we can do the same thing over and over but that gets boring. The only way to keep this from not happening is to do new things and have new experiences and conversations with people. This is what twitter has brought into my life anyways.

I have to say that the iPhone app saved brightkite for me. I used it everyday until about a month ago and then noticed that my participation slowed down to almost nothing. The second the app showed up, I was back in full on mode at CMJ in NYC with Brightkite. It is a well thought out and simple app that was worth every second of the waiting.
