I recently switched over to Ovi, but the approach I used was sync'ng my calendar to iCal on my Mac and then used Google CalDAV to sync it over to google calendars

I know it's quite an over-engineered solutions but oh well it worked... now with Ovi much simpler :)

Loved this post, it exactly reflects how I use my symbian phone, I've owned the E61, E61i and now the E71 and like you I'm pretty much in love with it, the processor speed bump indeed helps and I can get more done really fast. Now I just got to way for 3G coverage where I live for now is just EDGE but I guess it's ok for most uses.
