Personality, relationships, "people skills". Business is getting more and more "humanized"...

Happy Holiday Season :-)

Re: Nominate Your Favorite Social Media Blog for Our Top 10 Contest

I'm in a quandary because there are too many excellent blogs: http://cindyking.biz/ http://www.chrisbrogan.com/ http://www.mackcollier.com/ http://altitudebranding.com/ http://www.conversationagent.com/ http://www.copyblogger.com/ http://www.web-strategist.com/blog/ http://mashable.com/ http://thebrandbuilder.wordpress.com/ http://www.socialmediatoday.com/ http://www.socialmediaexplorer.com/ http://outspokenmedia.com/blog/ http://www.convinceandconvert.com/ ...

I think I'm going to abstain :-)

Re: Is International Social Media for You?

Hello Amsall, Thank you for your comments and tips. I'm sure you have lots of insights to share on international social media marketing!

Re: Is International Social Media for You?

Awesome post as usual, Cindy. This comes exactly at the time I need it the most - for my upcoming blogsite and book "The Cross-cultural Connector". I've followed ALL the links in this post, plus most of the links inside wherever those links took me LOL. One way to find out about the most popular networking sites in various countries could be Linkedin answers or Yahoo answers. I think Scott Monty's list is a bit old (2008, and things go very fast in the e-world!). Congratulations, Cindy. Thanks a lot for the great work you're doing and please keep on churning out the goodies :-)

Re: How to Maximize Your Social Media Interaction | Social Media Explorer

Amsall, the majority never likes change, but give it time and you'll see them begin to change their mind.

Re: How to Maximize Your Social Media Interaction | Social Media Explorer

David, I also love the latest Facebook redesign, so much so that I've just tweeted this post :-) Of course we seem to be in a minority, judging from what people are saying on the Facebook site, but what does it matter... The majority is not always right LOL!

Re: Why Twitter Is My Personalized Search Engine

Very good, Corvida! You're a genius, I love you and I'm truly delighted for you :-) Now one question that was raised by Sash in these comments: What will happen to Twitter if Facebook makes the conversation stream searchable?

Re: The New AVC, Same As The Old AVC

Congratulations, Fred.

Cool, lean fast and beautiful. Of course this goes without saying, because being with you is the same as being with myself. That goes without saying, but still I'll say it: "I'm with you".

Also congratulations and thanks to Wayne, Louis, Cyndy and all the others... for doing what they've done and simply being themselves, i.e. good people, which seems to be pretty hard for some people. Anyway, as we all know, "bad people are unhappy people". Poor fools!

I know you won't allow yourself to be ruffled by idiots.

Just keep moving, forward and upward ;-)

Re: State of the Twitter, June 2008 (Scripting News)

I'm surprised (shocked?) there's no mention of Plurk on this page, not even in the comments!

Re: The Problem With Leaving Twitter

I am amazed at the number of times the word "faith" is used in reference to Twitter. Is this a new religion :-) As we all know, faith is irrational and subjective by definition. When all is said and done, Plurk is much better for one2one, human2human conversation than Twitter.

Well, I still use both Plurk and Twitter but I feel I'm getting closer and closer to Plurk - plus the "horizontal timeline" is real cool once you get used to it!

Re: louisgray.com: Making My Blog Search Legit With Lijit

I've just started using Lijit (right after reading Louis Gray's post) and I was even more encouraged by Micah's comment (the 1st one ;-)
