I think the luxury of internet criticism, for me, comes from getting familiar with a critic's interests, and therefore his biases. As a critic you're professing your character in the loudest of voices, and that in itself is fascinating. So when I read a review I don't look for the black and white "Is it good or is it rubbish." I say, "Hmm, WeBoy is a live one, I can't wait to hear how his brain digested this."
