And let's not forget that a tiered internet already exists. Wi-Fi, dial-up, and different speeds and prices of broadband...I don't understand why the sky is falling all of a sudden.

I like the second part of the quote too...Legislating in the absence of real understanding of the issue risks both solving the wrong problem and hobbling the rapidly developing new technologies and business models of the Internet with rigid, potentially stultifying rules.

And I agree with Love2Box that regulation in moderation has it's time and place. In this case, however, it's unnecessary, burdensome and without merit.
